Great tone! How you compare this to a traditional P Bass? I want a traditional P but love this tone... what amp or vst are you using..?

Thanks! traditional fender p bass would be traditional anyway. In Yamaha BB series i love that recognizable tone.
About gear - i use cheap sound card + logic pro x with no effects or any plugins, except compressor.

Thanks for watching! I guess I can’t share the lick because I find three chords (in fingers and slap part) and just improvise on that pattern every time new phrase. You can slow tempo on UA-cam player and trying to transcribe the line you like, they are simple
