Good looks big bro 💯
Great video ❤ I just my CDL license after years of trying I got introduced to an immigrant helper online who assisted me getting mine for a decent amount
Work at Amazon 3 months, then do their CareerChoice to get CDL or any other trade, free
@LevelUpLomax Yeah that's how I got my license, then I went to the yard to move trailers for them. Now I work for UNFI in PA, delivering groceries to NYC
@@robertperala damn good move man that’s exactly what I’m trying to teach. Use one of these wearhouse jobs to get that free CDL now you can go wherever you want. Congrats bro smart move for sure
I am looking at getting my CDL and this is not the first time that I've looked into it, but after some really bad luck financially due to my wife's medical in addition to work place office drama, I figure perhaps this would be the best route for now. Ultimately, I would like to become a nurse but that is expensive and time consuming so perhaps the CDL should come first and then after a year of driving I can start to take some online nursing classes to get started. I already have several degrees which means some credits should transfer like math, chem, etc. I do not think I would want to drive for long as my father drove for about a decade after retiring from the military and I remember him being gone most of my teen year - I don't want to do that to my kids.
.
Hey,
thank you
for the
video.
I've been studying for my CDL. Wish me luck lol 😌❣️🙏🏿💁🏿♀️💞 #FutureLady
Trucker
Big homie,I work for us foods and I ask do they have the driver program to become a driver for the company and they told me they had the driver program but got rid of it because driver would get they cdl and quit..now I have to get my cdls on my own..what would you recommend?
Yeah that is a problem with a lot of these companies. You can either go to another company like that or you can call the unemployment office and see if they are offering the program I’ve heard some driver got the CDL for free that way.
What about working in a USPS warehouse that has truckers fleet?
They may have a driving program ask one of the drivers or go straight to the Transportation department and ask them
Question do i need a High School Diploma or GED to become a truck driver?
I am not sure but I’d say I’ve never been asked to provide proof they ask on the application but I’ve never had to like submit documentation on that
@BluexAgar yes you do unless you get your own truck than I'm sure you can get around that
Its definitely not free
Not only was it free i literally got paid while I went to school lol but you have to find a company that’s doing that
@@LevelUpLomaxwhat company is doing this? Really need to get my cdl but don’t have thousands to pay for a school
@@Nino1Hunned Mclane Company, sygma / Sysco those two I know for sure. When you’re looking for a company look for the job description of : Driver Trainee that’s usually where they will put you through school some of them require you to have a CDL permit first but you can always call and asked the transportation department
Nothing is free in this world but if your given a opportunity to go to a class and pay the minimum in return then it’s free. Most of the companies doing this ask for a total of $3500 paid back to keep the class going for others. The payment is not expected until you are earning at-least 100k a year and it can be broken down to $25 a month or however you pay it once you meet that threshold of income. If your serious about making 80k-100k a year what is $3500 be honest that’s your tax return for a few years and your making the money to pay it back. Better living or continue to struggle you decide
@@Ebonyb5 i literally paid nothing lol but this is a good idea the only problem is that was over 5 years ago and CDL cost about double that now
What's wait period to get into the training program
It all depends on the company. Most companies say you need to be working there at least 90 days some say 6 months. If you know the company has a driving program than you can call the transportation department and ask what the requirements are.
Yes it is free
I wish I could find a program to help me become a supermodel.
Age requirements?
You have to be 21 or older mainly because you’ll be driving a commercial vehicle across states. Some states let you get it at 18 but you can only do local In state work
Truckers could not get a pay raise for themselves since 1970’s. No one cares about them. Truckers love being pushed around by dot and epa. Since truckers agree, enjoy and prefer to be pushed around - no one is taking them seriously - It is also evident in their pay scale, environment in which they also work and live.
Appreciate the info, keep grinding!
