@@rogerphone481 Well, i just realised that my comment makes absolutely no sense when put into the context of Fallout, so just ignore what i said previously and pretend it says "2110". A bit early, but let's pretend you were a kid or something when you entered the Vault, so you'd be at your 40's/50's. Your parents died, along with all of the other residents due to dieseases, shortage of supplies and old age. Left with no choice, you then venture out into the wastes for the first time since you were 10 years old, although it's been a long time, your mind gets flooded with memories of the old times. Ah, how you wish you could go back. Why did this war even happen? If only we had prepared, then maybe it wouldn't have happened... Maybe.
I never fully listened to the lyrics before, instead I would just acknowledge the song playing in the background without much thought. This is the first time I've actually listened, and it really is such a sad song.
I miss them alot. they were my everything. and it's gone. from a stupid few words, it ended poorly, they're happy with another. so I guess it's all good. maybe, they'll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near, then maybe they'll ask me to come back again.
Pov: you go out of your fallout shelter to find the water purifier chip, and the sunlight overwhelmes you after being in the vault for so long. You're eyes adjust and you see the whole world has been ruined and had become a wasteland.
