MegaDrive/Genesis Game: Jeopardy! (1992 GameTek, Inc.)

A puzzle/trivia game based on the very popular tv game show featuring the show's music and the voice of host Alex Trebek. You compete against other two players by coming up with the question for the given answers. There are two rounds of play each with six categories of answers and one final round consisting of a single answer. Each correct question can be worth from $100 to $1000 whichever player responds first or even more through daily doubles is uncovered if the player happens to find it an may bet up to the current amount of money they have. Each wrong answer will have earnings deducted. The player with the most money wins the game. The game also features a high score table so players can save their character's wins and losses, different male and female character animations to choose from, and a wide variety of answers and questions. Up to three human players can compete each other or a combination of human and computer players can play against each other.
Note: Tough! but great game! I just noticed Alex Trebek the longtime host of Jeopardy! game show passed away last November 2020. That's a sad and terrible day in TV history. Without Alex Trebek, Jeopardy! is not the same without him. As a result, I'm uploading several Jeopardy! video games as a special tribute to him and a great dedication to his memory, in which, we will never forget. Let's enjoy the show and fun!

It still blows my mind to this very day that Alex Trebek is not with us anymore. Jeopardy is just not the same without him. I'm not a very big fan of Jeopardy, but I sometimes enjoy watching it and try to memorize some of the answers. He was an amazing game show host and a fine man to everybody that knew and adored him. All we can do is keep his perfect memory alive and just keep the games rolling. I understand Alex is in a better place. God Bless you Alex. I hope I get to see you again some day. I love you and may you rest in peace.

I myself haven't watched "Jeopardy" all that much since Alex's passing a little over a year ago. It's not the same with all the different guest hosts & hostesses at the helm.
I moreso play the "Jeopardy" video games (I have it on the Nintendo Wii & DS and play classic game consoles online such as this Sega Genesis version), at least there, you still have Alex. If you can't SEE him in the video game, you can at least HEAR his voice
