The Disc Father reported today that Fantasia And Sleeping Beauty are both coming from Disney in 4K
Good, informative video and a nice discussion. I hope that physical media is here to stay.
It’s their ‘vault’ tactic. They are known to do this every couple of decades. They limit their releases and then make them exclusive.
I would love to get Moon Knight Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel!! And a BIG wishlist thing would be a 30th anniversary 4K release for Die Hard with a Vengeance!!
Wow, Dopey being Conner's favorite Disney character growing up. I don't remember Snow White, but I'm really glad it holds up since my favorite as a kid was Aladdin and it didn't hold my interest when I was older. A Disney movie I'm curious about seeing again is Sleeping Beauty because I remember the final fight being visually beautiful. Thanks again, DJ and Conner!
Prey is getting a Physical release? FUCKING FINALLY!
I'd be interested in that top 10 most anticipated Disney physical releases video. I've pre-ordered Wandavision and Mando season 1 and 2. Only other must have MCU Show I'd want physical is Ms. Marvel. I was part of the Disney Movie Club in Canada but it's shutting down. Made my last huge order with the closing 70% discount.
So weird listening to you guys talk about Marvel and Star Wars... So used to hear you talk about author films and Criterions 😂😂
"Hawkeye" is my favorite Disney-Marvel show. Funny, thrilling, clever, poignant, all the things. "Loki" is amazing too, once you get past the first episode, which is all exposition.
They are losing Disney+ subscribers Wandavision dropped right off after all episodes went up as many watched it each time a new episode dropped, if they make their more popular streaming shows available on physical media they'll bring in additional revenue especially the marvel star wars TV shows . Absolutely hate those silver 4k steelbooks for their 100th year
It's too little too late. Disney will never get a penny from my wallet ever again.
Had to go there huh? These boys are the greatest thing going on UA-cam for a younger generation appreciating films. You saving your pennies for that deluxe 4k "Sound of Freedom" with bonus features?
I'm sure they're going to be absolutely distraught about that. How will they cope without one random dudes money.
They'll probably go into administration now.
Could we please for the love of god get a Barbarian and The Menu physical release as well?
The Menu got a bluray release I got a copy in my collection.
I'm not a physical media fan for Disney releases. I like and love a majority of their classic releases and a good number of their modern releases when I get to view them, I feel they have no respect for their consumers that buys physical media. Their approach to "creating" a false sense of a collector's limited edition type mentality just rubs me the wrong way, so I'm not interested in their way of doing business.
Though I don't really know when I even saw a Disney Product last, what I would want for them to put out is the rest of the Marvel/Netflix shows. Netflix put out Seasons 1 and 2 of Daredevil, Jessica Jones Season 1 and maybe Luke Cage Season 1, but that's it I think. Because those Netflix Marvel shows are the best things Marvel has put out since Disney's takeover in my opinion. If nothing else I would like to have Daredevil Season 3 at least to finish it out.
Growing up I really enjoyed Disney and up until a few years ago I still bought their Blu-rays, but now I will not support anything that has to do with Disney. I don't want my money to go to things the company is involved in.
