Hi Brian,
What a great life you're living...Love the adventure you're on and the beautiful happy music with the video 👍... Is that you on strings......?
Just watched your April 2017 video. So glad you did not quit UA-cam. You have been an inspiration to me at 70 years old. I’ve retired and am going to join the RV adventure. I would have definitely done the van route if I was 35 years younger. Thanks for your videos.
AAA has come to the rescue for me and others in the family several times. From dead battery to full tow to a shop. Highly recommended!
That one really puts the adventure in Adventure Van Man! I thought that unmatching rim looked suspect. To the best of my recognition that’s the fourth time you’ve been stuck in one way or another. Best of luck to you Brian your videos have touched my life in a very positive way.
Typical Oregon weather...drizzle...drizzle....drizzle.....glad you are safe and healthy!....God bless you abundantly and stay safe and healthy!
The adventure will continue. Glad you made it off that highway in one piece.
Ok, I think you have a one of a kind vanlife story! Yeah I was up in Washington just cruising along on the back of a truck......... Brian, only You!!! LOL!! Great one buddy!! Still sorry for the breakdown but no severe damage. This is what it's about. Can't go forever without some repairs.
My God the sky is so clear and blue....the landscape is BREATHTAKING...the clouds are so puffy and white .....and trees ... I love trees🌳🌳🌳when the unexpected happens...it's a opportunity to rest and be thankful...it have been worst... Thanks for the video
AAA ROCKS, i never leave home without them. They have rescued me a few times. Well worth the money.
nail biter! love how Brian keeps that positive attitude and smile on his face
Good thing you are ultra-aware of the sounds your van should and shouldn’t be making. Glad to see it resolved safely. 👍✌️
No one knows your vehicle like you do! Great job! Kudos to AAA; I've been a member for many years. That being said, the view of that snow-covered mountain made this Florida girl tear up! Absolutely spectacular! YOU ROCK!
Brian, I love your videos, thank you for taking us along with you on your adventures. I feel I'm right there with you. You are very dignified, organized. We don't have to ask anybody can we stay overnight. You always find a cool spot.
Although I’m very sorry for your troubles it is nice to see how things work out. I’ve always been kind of nervous with the “what if I break down” thought. Seeing this helped!! Thank you Brian.
strangers helping strangers... Never gets old!
Glad to see you are alright. It restores my faith in humanity to see such helpful people are still out there. I look forward to seeing the new wheels!
You took that amazingly well and it makes me feel good to know so many people stepped up to help you.
Wow! You're pretty calm under such circumstances. Good thing it didn't happen @ the off road/campsite! Yay for good peoples too! Glad you're safe n sound. ☮❤🕉
Hang in there man it'll be alright good things happen to good people and you're a good person I like your name says it was an adventure God bless love you videos keep up the good work
Your vids are kinda like wen your a kid and McDonald's ...it never disappoints and is always familiar in the best comforting way. Ty
Always nice to see a camper leave their site cleaner than they found it..... I thought I was the only one! It's such an easy thing to do.... nice job on setting the example!
Thank you so much for your nomad content there's a lot of famous UA-cam Nomads out there they're just fake appreciate your great attitude just your way of life is very inspiring
Brian you are awesome no matter what the day brings. I remember in an early on video that you always had money set aside for repairs and emergencies. This wise choice makes your adventures do able with a smile on your face. Also that you always give extra travel time to your destinationz. Enjoy your videos from NW PA.
You actually had a pretty "blessed" situation there! So close to a tire store..and able to use your Triple A ..Say a thank you prayer for all the good!
Beautiful video! Sorry about the wheel problems. Thanks so much for sharing parts of your life with us.
I’m so glad you are safe! What a stressful time this was for you. Life is a trip! All’s well, that ends well!
Beautiful out there man. Living it up. Thanks for another great vid.
Can't wait for the follow-up. Your patient, levelheaded and positive approach to adversity continue to inspire me. Great video!
I’ve found having the right wheel and just as important having the lugs torqued to the correct spec is absolutely critical. Good luck.
Good to see you can still smile with all your problems
I think Centralia has big Christmas tractor parade every year. Seems like good folks would reside there. Glad you are safe and were able to encounter good people during your trip. There are good people out there! ✌️🇺🇸🚜👍
Brian! You have such a wonderful reverence for all of nature in all your videos. But then you go back to your van and eat all kinds of animal flesh and secretions. I just got to invite you to eventually move to a vegan lifestyle where your reverence won't be drenched in hypocrisy.
Great source to find out the nightmare that meat and dairy eaters unconsciously fund every day is "Earthling Ed." Tons of very informative youtube videos on all aspects of personally righting this wrong.
The best to you, one of you're long time viewers.
Scary..Glad you are safe..Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..
What a wild ride at the end. On a positive note the van would look pretty rad with black wheels.
Wow! So glad you weren't doing 70 on the highway when the wheel came off. What a crazy adventure. I love your positive attitude.
Been there before. The same wheel on my truck actually fell off while driving. Got her slowed down to about 35mph before it did. It happened so fast. First vibration for about 15 seconds then THUMP the wheel took off down the road about a quarter mile or so luckily not hitting anything before hitting the guard rail and stopping. Later, while it was being towed, the tow truck broke down and it was about 3 hours to cover about 10 miles. What a day! Glad you're okay.
Your equanimity is impressive Brian...glad you were close to to help when this happened.
Thank heavens you stopped when you did. That could have had a very different conclusion if you had kept driving. Be safe Brian!
Dude, even your troubles seem like adventures! :)
Love the scenic view from the van !😎
Well your name is adventure van man....what an adventure! 😬😀🇺🇸
You handeled this challenge well. It's amazing you were able to recognize all of the issues while driving down the road! Anxious to hesr the outcome, glad you are safe!
All this hassle and expense, because of a wrong size spare tire. Well, u live and u learn. Another great vid Brian, thanx.
Oh Brian!
Its funny because earlier in the video I kept thinking, man my biggest fear would be breaking down and how would anyone ever find me if I was down a forest road like Brian is.Then you leave there and break down later on down the road.
I felt bad for you so much!!!!!!!!
Its funny because years ago we broke down in Missouri with a van full of people and 2 small kids and we did the same thing, some of us crammed in with the driver and the rest of us sitting on our van on top of the tow truck like you were....it was a weird experience! I kept thinking this cant be legal! I hope all goes well in the morning with your repairs...
God bless Brian.
I LOVE that even when you have an unexpected problem, you face it, try to look at the bright side and keep a positive attitude!!
Sorry about your troubles. Back in the 70's I was traveling from Spokane to Portland and I lost the lug nuts on my left rear wheel. Spent the night on the side of the highway in my car. Luckily the next morning a trucker stopped and gave me a ride into Cascade Locks, Ore. I got towed into a garage where they fixed the studs and had me on my way in a couple of hours.
Good luck!!! Appreciate you documenting your ups and downs. Stay positive
Breakdowns are a bummer but at least it wasn't too bad and you didn't have to be towed very far. I had two breakdowns in the last week my van broke a front spring which blew the tire and damage the front axle/CV boot. I was able to limp it four hours back to the home base. Then I went on an RV delivery job and the new unit had a breakdown 900 miles into the run and I had to wait for 5 hours to get it towed away. All is good, it is a wonderful life!
That's a shame the van came with the wrong spare wheel. Hope you got it all sorted out by now. Thanks for sharing.
Did notice when you left your campsite that the hood was sure bouncing. Glad you noticed it before anything worse happened. I'm sure you got those wheels and lugs fixed up. Makes for a very tiring day but so nice to have people who can help.
Wow, that was a close call. Thank God that the wheel didn't fall off while on the highway speed. Brian, thank you for creating these entertaining videos for us. Stay safe. Peace.
I have a childhood memory of going through that stretch of Highway 20 and have wanted to do it ever since. You are inspiring me to do this! Hope Les Schwab is able to get you out of this without too much delay.
What an ordeal! Glad you found a helpful trooper and a good samaritan!
I was impressed how you kept your cool!👍😎
Crazy! I wonder if you would have rode in your van if it had been a farther drive. So glad you weren’t farther away
It's fortunate you were close to the repair shop, and had such good folks to help you. What an adventure you're having!
Wow Brian....you are blessed and glad nothing really bad happen with that tire coming off.
Thank goodness you are safe. Your such a nice guy.
Hope all goes well the rest of your trip to your job.
Little nerve racking I'm sure.
Well rest up tomorrow is another day........hope you can sleep well.
I love how positive and present you are with handling the problem (challenge). You never got upset or stressed. Just dealt with it.
This proves there are good ppl everywhere! So glad you are safe. Been seeing a lot of tire problems from the RV community and praying for you guys out there on the road.
Hope this has all ended up well for you. Glad some nice folk ended up helping! Looking forward to seeing some info on your job. 🙂
Thanks for showing us life on the road is not always 🌹and 🌈's. Keep us posted..
Wow that was nerve racking..hope you got everything fixed...thank god that didn't happen when you were deep in the woods...take care.
Glad you are safe, and that the wheel didn't fall off while you were in it. Sounds stressful. Yay, rear wheel stayed on! Kind of the trooper! Good Samaritan too. You gave yourself extra time too and had Triple A. New lugs. Night, night.
Ack, so sorry for the tire trouble. Glad you got off the road safely. Looking forward to the next video!
I think there are 2 types of people - those who love Oregon, and those who haven't been to Oregon yet. Beautiful.
Wow what a fortunate way for a misfortune to take place. Really admire how you kept your cool and didn't start raging. Looking forward to the next video and very glad you didn't have a bad accident. That rear wheel could have gone bad to worse to tragic. Hope you got a good nights rest and glad that your adventure continues. Be safe and thanks for keeping us updated.
What a chore! Always very worrying when you vehicle has problems. Finding out what they are is great though. Keep on truckin!
I sooo much like to hear you say goodbye and hello to each state, and also Away we go! 😉
So glad you made it safely, Brian 👍😊. Love your videos 🌻
Your so calm and positive. Shows your character. Good luck Brian
Thanks for taking us along for the ride. The good & the bad! I'm sure it all worked out. Been there, done that!
I kept seeing your hood bouncing around, I was so glad when you finally saw it. Definitely a bit if added adventure you weren't expecting. Glad it ended safely.✌
Wow, some days are really rough. Kindness from others makes all the difference. I go out of my way to help when I can because people have helped me on the road when they had plenty of reason not to. Kind people are awesome. I’m so happy folks were there for you when you needed them most. Safe travels. Thanks for sharing.
Thank goodness for AAA! My truck had to be towed from back in the woods in Oklahoma a couple weeks ago. (bent idler arm) It was a major feat to get the big tow truck back into where my truck and camper were situated. I guess AAA drivers must have nerves of steel. 👌😉 I got to stay in my little cargo trailer in the woods though; my campsite was on a friend's 100 acres. Take care, Brian. (Terri)
Im glad you are safe, and I hope you get a good deal on your repairs.
Be well my friend.
BUMMER! :( So Sorry about that tire! Glad you are Safe! Appreciate the plug for Who Can help! Glad you had the unique ride on a flatbed!
Scary stuck on the highway. Glad your safe. Looking forward to the result.
Sorry to see the troubles with the rim and the interruption to your trip. Glad you could appreciate the good people who helped in whatever way they could. Hope the next chapter finds you on your way again with a better and safer setup.
Well, glad your safe and off the main way.....made me nervous just riding along with you..uggg....hate stuff like that happening..and a bunk spare, crazy...glad your where you are , hope it won't cost an arm and a leg...loved the trees and wet dirt...I swear It refreshes me...smellivision !! Stay safe
So happy that things worked out for you in a fairly timely manner. Sitting on the highway is scary and unsafe. So glad the tire shop was fairly close by.
Major bummer! Glad you received the help you did! Yeah the alloy wheel probably uses cone seat lugs, where the factory wheels are ball seat. Appreciate your life attitudes and inspiration, Brian. Thanks bud!
Good thing that the wheel did not fall of on the freeway Brian.
Keep safe. Peace.
Life is an adventure whether you are in a van or in an apartment or in a house. Glad you are safe and able to spend the night where you can get help.
So glad you're ok. Sleep well and it'll be better in the morning.
So thankful you were not boondocking way down a dirt road when that happened! Glad that you made it safely to Les Schwab & had assistance; am looking forward to the next video to find out how it all worked out.
Les Schwab will take good care of you. They have been excellent to us for many years and vehicles. I just drove through Centralia Friday night the 22 last week. If I'd of seen you, I'd have baked a cake and helped. You're in good care, take care...
Wo what an adventure. Thank the Lord it worked out. That one definitely is why we save our money for emergencies on our rigs. Beautiful country that Oregon.
So sorry Brian. This is one of my biggest fears with traveling. Glad you were in a place you could get help.
What an adventure, indeed! So glad you are safe. Can't wait to see your new wheels.
What an Adventure! Staying calm wins in the end! 👍🏻😊

Welcome to Washington! take care
It's the good attitude that gets you through Brian, hope all goes well.
🤓 I have learned that I can live on less, travel around minimally in a vehicle I already own and get out of my comfort zone to see a bit of the world around me. 🗺 Thanks for sharing ✌🏿
