Valleyfair is excited to announce the addition of a new family ride, Northern Lights, and the development of Route 76, an all-new area geared towards families in 2014.
For those whining about not having tall coasters. Valleyfair is in the direct flight path on the way to an airport that is only a few miles away. You can see the airport from the tops of power tower and wild thing and renegade. That means height ordinances. The casinos would be huge if they weren't so close to the airport. Shakopee would be Minneapolis south if it wasn't for that airport. If someone wants to start a petition to get rid of that airport I will gladly sign but were never gonna have anything taller than power tower which is already a few inches too tall to begin with. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.
They needed a ride like this thats somewhere in between Wild Mouse and High Roller so people who hate the drop feeling still enjoy it Also, Valleyfair is already a year or two over-due for adding a new big ride so be patient
Would you consider any of their newer ones since this to be bigger? The only ones I know of that they've opened are North Star and Delirious. Although I have heard that Delirious is the first Super Loop in the Cedar Fair chain.
Guys Next Year In 2015 or 2016 they will add a new coaster. Maybe they will add to the water park in 2015 but if they do they will defiantly add a new coaster. If they still don't..D:
If you are gonna hate please go away and don't comment it. We can't have anything taller than the power tower, new rides would cost a lot of money. Stop asking MAKE NEW RIDES! Or, I WANT BIG COASTERS! Try to make a park by yourself and try to make accidents not happen. That's a lot of hard work. IF YOU HATE then don't share because you're gonna CAUSE drama.
Valleyfair is also flooded every spring. We LOVED Valley fair... perfect family park. The younger kids had something to do while the older ones went off with Dad to ride the big stuff. Sadly, we moved, and this area only has six flags. And SF has all but completely ignored the younger kids. My 6 year old can ride almost nothing. I'd drive back to MN to go to valley fair in a heart beat. Also, the things you take for granted... that park is clean, not a gang hang out, ect. Miss that place. This is true, if youve ever been to valleyfair you would see planes flying over it all the time.

Why call it Northern Lights when you got rid of that ride? Doesn't make any sense. Next are you going to make a new ride and call it Star Ship?
