The outro still is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard. Out of this world.

I'm an old schooler that ADORED the Peps and straight up OBSESSED over their stuff from 1984 to 1995 when I was a teen in the early-mid 90's. I sooo wish they'd go on tour and pay homage to the early days alone and leave the new stuff out. Everything from 1999 and on. Last time I saw them was 2000, and I'm good with that for now. Lol

Yeah, I thought they struck a great balance of new, old, hits, and slightly deeper cuts. I’m always happy to hear it, but I def don’t need to hear Give It Away at every single show 😛 At this point, I’d be pretty stoked with a set of only songs from Unlimited Love / Return Of The Dream Canteen, or just deep cuts and non-singles. They’ve got such an impressive catalogue of music, every show could be 100% diff than the last!

Seeing the whole band 30 years after bssm its a miracle.
I worked at this concert. I'm working at their concert tonight as well. There were a number of songs that I hadn't heard before but it was good to hear the old classics. Though not anymore they were my favourite band growing up so I finally got to see them in concert, and get paid for it as well. I worked at the Guns N Roses concert on the 27th of November at the same venue as well, so I got to see two childhood favourites. A lot of patrons were disappointed with the set list but you know what, some bands are happy to be a nostalgia act, focusing on the bands original heyday and hits, and some are focused on releasing new material. Later in the night I got to see some of the show up close, especially their closing the night with Give It Away. There was a little bit of improv mid song, though not as good as the performance on Live In Hyde Park, expanded into a 12 minute jam with a lengthy drum solo. While I'm not a big fan nowadays, it was a pretty good concert, and I hope that unlike many of tonight's attendees, there should be a lot more young people on Saturday, and that Saturday's crowd will be more satisfied. And Flea's an Aussie, so it's a matter of pride. Rock on! 😀

I can be a bag inspector, a traffic controller, a ticket scanner, but most of the time I'm an RSA Marshall, standing outside a bar and checking young people's I.d.'s to make sure that their over eighteen. Saturday was much better, with the Chili Peppers performing the bulk of the concert with songs from 1991-2006. People still complained because they didn't perform Under The Bridge, but you know what, life goes on. Take Care 😀
