This song brings back memories. Jawbreaker were such a big influential band, but don’t get the credit they deserve.

Lagwagon did give credit though. The album that contains this song, "Let's talk about leftovers" by lagwagon is all covers of some of their favorite bands and some rarities (as stated clearly on the album and credits)
In fairness, Lagwagon is fucking boring and not worth the time of day from anyone who likes interesting music.

Totally agree, Nicholas. Already have my tickets to the album's anniversary show in SF where they are playing it in it's entirety. Stoked, too, because it is my favorite album by them and I have seen them many times but have not heard many of the songs.

Also the bridge from Dead Kennedys' "Pull My Strings". I think there's a classical piece it's based on; like, how there's a million pop songs that riff on Pachelbel's canon (I'm not sure I am spelling that name right; I kept wanting to type "Taco Bell's canon". I'm hungry).

I love jawbreakers but I don’t understand why people hail Blake as the best lyricist when he’s lyrics read like the livejournal entry of a teenager who just read chuck palahniuk for the first time two nights ago.
