this competition was a classic for tight eyez, he murdered every battle to the throne and gave the win to his mom at the end, he's a living legend.
I was at this event 4 years ago, and it was the first time I ever went to a popular dance event where dancers I’ve followed for years participated (Tight Eyez, boogie frantick etc.). It was insane to see Eyez tear it up each round, the energy he emits is so powerful it just makes you do the stank face the entire time. It’s a beautiful thing to witness such greatness in person, I also remember this being his first time battling since his mother passed away a year prior as he told us when he won the event. It was an honor to see a pioneer of a whole dance style in person, it was a great experience.
This would probably be one of those days I'd never forget. sounds like a dope experience man

The energy and just force tight eyez brings to dance is insane, cant imagine battling that in person.
Is it just me or were both of them killing each other's styles lowkey? First song was more suited to her, but Tight Eyez murdered that(even feels like he put some house into the Krump. House Krump🤣). Then in the second round, Toyin was messing with a more sharper explosive version of her own style that almost looked Krumpish.

As someone who practice dance myself I really appreciate your take cuz that's I how I've felt in about certain instances. When I've freestyled at parties or at school before the rona hit, friends had asked me if I could I teach them how to dance but they were only looking at it for moves and not understanding what makes the moves connect and bring the dance together as a whole after I tried to teach them. Keep up the good work bro, you're doing great 👍 Also I would love to hear views on some of the battles from Ilovethisdance. Waydi, Kefton, and Bouboo have had great performances there and there's a lot of great dancers who've competed there whose styles I think you could appreciate.
