This is what we called shifting baselines.That fish is a nice fish 15 years ago but not a big fish. A big fish back then would be a 25 to 30 pounder. That bull I'd guess is 15 lbs

I stated fishing for Mahi in the mid 1990 and the fishing was great to about 2012 when you see smaller fishing and most of the fishing was 20 miles out. I'm talking in the Key Largo area. There were days in the late 1990 and into the 2000's you could catch multiple 25lbs+ fish 2 miles out from outer reef line in 250ft of water. I've seen days with hundreds of schoolies moving north. There used to be weekly dolphin fishing tournament in the summer its close to zero now. This is what poor management does.
