Thanks, I was in the process of removing mine and found a crushed wire on the pick up side, ATV had some strange sparking issues it would only spark after the decompression lever fell, then rotate once and spark but no sparking during actual cranking drove me crazy.

Which direction does the nut on the pull start flywheel turn? We don’t want to strip it.
