One thing I can say about the 2 train line in the 90's, there was always a weed spot steps aawy from any 2 train spot. I'm talking actual stores u could walk in and by weed. Example. As soon as u got of Jackson there was a weed spot by the barbershop. As soon as u got off Prospect there was a weed spot by these buildings that are no longer there cuz they collapsed and is now occupied by a Rite Aid. As soon as u got off Intervale there was a weed spot by the liquor store. And So on and So on. NYC was that much of a cess pool that there were actual stores u could walk in and by wood, cops driving by that shit all day like its nothing.
