Kanban is a visual system for managing work as it moves through a process.
Kanban visualizes the process (the workflow) and the actual work that goes through that process.
The purpose of Kanban is to identify potential bottlenecks in your process and correct them so that work can cost-effectively flow through it at optimal speed or throughput.
The benefits of using a Kanban system
A Kanban can be as simple as a board with To-Do, Doing, Done sections. But the main thing is that Kanban presents a simple way to organize tasks, manpower, work and workflow, making things much more efficient.
Let's look at the benefits of using Kanban:
1. It's visual
Physical, digital or otherwise, a Kanban system is visual. This helps people navigate the process much easier. This is especially useful in situations where multiple people or groups are coordinating and cooperating on projects, allowing them to plan their current and future tasks. The visual nature of Kanban also makes it easy to understand. It's a perfect complement to all those email threads you probably have floating around and will make everyone understand the process better.
2. Provides a more holistic view of the process
Another good thing about a Kanban system is that it gives everyone a more holistic view of a process in its entirety. As opposed to having people just work in a bubble, a Kanban system allows everyone in the organization to have a better understanding and appreciation of what other people and teams are doing.
3. It's simple
The idea and concept behind a Kanban system is not difficult to understand. That's what makes it attractive to every department and every industry. Simplicity allows everyone to jump on board and participate.
4. Gives people more access to information
The nature of a Kanban system as an inclusive process also allows people to have access to more information. It gives everyone more corporate knowledge, which is particularly useful for people who have little understanding of a complex system, like new employees.
5. Less waste, lean operations
Again, the nature of a Kanban system contributes to less waste in operations. Redundant or unnecessary parts of a process can be removed, while other processes can be simplified. Workflow can be streamlined without compromising on quality. That means better productivity - and a steady, consistent one.
6. Promotes better communication
As using a Kanban system provides a more holistic view of the process, it encourages better cooperation and communication within and between teams and departments. People will be able to adjust schedules and deadlines accordingly because they know what other people are doing. By extension, this also serves as a means of checks and balances, where inefficiencies along the chain can be eliminated, and the person responsible can be held accountable, rather than the usual finger pointing that wastes even more time and damages the relationship between employees.
7. Gives employees clearer goals
Since everyone will have a better idea of how things are done, a Kanban system increases focus for everyone. Everyone will know what needs to be done, allowing them to better prioritize and wrap up any waste in other tasks. There is also less confusion and people can operate and deliver better as there is more transparency.

Trabalhei 2 anos num setor denominado KANBAN e nunca fizemos essa tabela kk
Uma tabela dessas só é útil se tem uma pessoa que já sabe fazer tudo, que tenha bastante experiência, pra fazer ela e passar pros subordinados fazer as atividades. Já que se fizer a tabela errada, na verdade tu perde eficiência. Então tu afoga o cabeça por um tempinho pra ficar criando quadros e notas visuais, ao invés do comum dialogo e quando tu termina, ele te passa outra atividade etc.
Mas é muito bom pra um processo já bem padrão, e serve mais pra ver quem é o funcionário que atola as coisas no processo do que melhorar processos kkkkkk
Pra melhorar o processo, precisa identificar o tempo que está levando pra fazer aquela atividade na empresa em questão e idealizar um tempo perfeito (ou o comparar com os tempos de empresas conceituadas na área)
Sinceramente, acho que beira a inutilidade em chão de fabrica. Em trabalhos no pc, que normalmente são atividades mais complexas e ninguém sabe o que tem que fazer porque muda toda hora faz mais sentido usar.

Argumente ao invés de fazer um espantalho. Sendo que disse que é inútil em chão de fabrica. Em trabalhos compartilhados no Pc que várias pessoas fazem simultaneamente, vejo alguma utilidade, como já disse.
Sabe de nada , inocente. Todas as grandes fábricas, montadoras , auto peças, eletrônicos, , enfim. Qualquer empresa que tenha uma linha de montagem ou manufatura em série utiliza o sistema kanban, pelo simples fato de otimizar e controlar a produção de forma eficiente, atendendo a demanda do cliente interno e externo.
Acho que antes de dar opinião sobre um assunto que não conhece e determinar que o mesmo não faz sentido, seria melhor ter mais humildade e conhecer .
@@eduardoemil7324 mais de 90% dos empregos vem de pequenas empresas. Seu ponto não faz sentido nenhum para o assunto em questão.
E olha que irônico, eu era supervisor do KANBAN de uma metalúrgica numa multinacional 🤣
