Hanna bi main or not, they always feed of do absolutely nothing till 12 minutes or so, and even then they just get a kill or two here or there. Grock good lane would be much better.
I started using Hanabi when she was first released. I think that's like 3, 4 or 5 years ago. Honestly cant remember exectly since I joined ML in 2017. She had a really high percentage of lifesteal and everyone had gone crazy picking and banning her in RG. She could actually outplay at least 3 other heroes alone and sometimes all 5 of them. Moonton decided to adjust that and it was okay coz I thought it was reasonable. Then they nerfed her damage and then continued to nerf her nonstop and then that's it. Nothing happened after that nerf. She became the queen of lifesteal to the worst MM real quick. It's painful to see that all other MMs are getting their revamps and buffs but nothing for Hanabi. Moonton said she would get her revamp but that was like almost a year ago. I still use her in RG but I always end up getting frustrated. Right now, I would say that she's more of a liability in the team than an asset. Hanabi is my favorite hero. I love her but I hate the fact that I want to win more than I wanted to pick her in RG. She deserves a revamp. Hanabi deserves better. Give her the "NINJA" abilities she deserves.
Same here i really wish to use her again but I'm scared for my winrate also in addition to that the antique currias makes her damage like non existent along with maybe blade armor ;-; so if we had a slight mistake in positioning or ganked we are just pretty much doomed
Yeah every Kagura main talks shit about her just cuz they're girl got buffed as hell as if she isn't already broken asf and Hanabi got nerfed to death. Although she used to be really OP despite not having any mobility, moontoon had always been unfair to her like a ninja with not a single dash? Seriously? Pabobohan moontoon?
If hanabi will get a revamp, I suggest they do something like this. Passive - stays the same then add the effects of her 1st skill. So she wont be consuming that much mana in the early game. Or rather remove the mana consumption completely. 1st skill - shadow backstep Makes a dash backward then have a shield which shares the effect of the passive regardless of the hp she has. So she can have a cc immunity even with less hp. To make it balance. Just add a duration on the shield. 2nd skill - make it steal movement speed or hp anything is fine. Ss - faster casting animation and immobilize effect then add a slow on the area to increase its proc chance.
I've been suggesting that her second skills should have a second phase, if she hits an enemy there's a second phase of her second skill and it would be a blink skill or Her passive shield allows her to be more tanky/have more shield if there are more Enemies around her if they won't give her a blink skill
too much mobility if this would be applied. im also suggesting that his current 1st skill could be her passive if she'll be revamped. it'll be activated if she'll hit jungles or heroes 5 times. sound's fair ain't it?
After trying her out again after leaving her in the darkness for months now, I realized Hanabi relies on hiding, ambush, and pretty much having protection from her teammates. Hanabi can deal lots of damage to enemies, especially in clashes and team fights. Hanabi is not that bad, it's just that she can't rely on herself alone. Hanabi needs support and protection from tanks, while also keeping herself attentive and aware of her surroundings.
Maybe they should do is add her second skill a fog thingy like nata but it will make enemy go blind for 1 second and hanabi will get 50% movement speed if she hits the enemy
Nah, what Hanabi needs is a dash. Then can make her 2nd skill similar to Kimmy or Clint instead where she can dash a little backwards after throwing the kunai. If they do that, she can be meta again especially with the buff on Inspire.
Hanabi has always been one of those easy to use but hard to master MM's so this is my Idea for her revamp. Passive: The shield should be changed into added movement speed instead because of how easy it is to remove from her. They should also add a 2nd passive on her wherein her basic attacks would bounce back the target atleast 2-3 times. 1st Skill: Her old 2nd skill should be her new first skill to slow and damage the enemies and remove the mana gain from it since its useless with the new passive. 2nd Skill: Hanabi can teleport to any direction and leave a kunai on the ground and she could click the skill again to tp back to her Kunai. Ult:She would create a circle and the circle would follow her around and enemies inside the skill will be slowed and allies that are in it will be speeded up. This set of skills allows hanabi to have a chance to escape and to deal damage at the same time. While also giving allies a chance to fight back within her ultimate.
Fact: Hanabi always skips her class to see Hayabusa studying. That's why she can't dash, jump, and other mobility skills and she can only throw Beyblade.
Hanabi's supposed to be a ninja, but the funny thing is, she has no blink skill or escape skill, the only way for Hanabi to escape a gank or reposition herself is with the flicker spell..

I used to like Hanabi as marksman when I was new to ML. Later on it faded because there are lots of other marksman than could better win games. I just hope she gets revamped such that her gameplay changes significantly to be able to stand on higher play. She's a beautiful hero, I got her Collector skin even though I almost never use her 😂
First time I joined ml, hanabi was on free heroes, I loved playing her somehow haha then I asked my friends about it and they were like : maybe re consider ur choice? So I chose selena instead
I hope she gets a revamp. I've been so "lucky" to have both her Venom and Special skin(as well as normal skin). Unless she gets buffed then I'm pretty sure she'll be the only hero that I haven't played more than 2 matches with
I'm hanabi main 1300 matches 71 wr she's not useless if you just have good teammates to maintain until she can have item (anyway I've got all her skins 😊)

She requires a good teammates. Otherwise, she'll have difficult time surviving the laning phase of early to mid game. But if she completed her gear before late game she's so deadly.
“She requires good teammates” even with good teammates its hard to have an mm like hanabi, because your gold laner is your source of damage, look at heroes like clint, brody, beatrix and wanwan. They still have some sources of mid game damage while hanabi literally has none + the marksmen i mentioned has some kind of mobility while hanabi is just a worse layla
She's just really bad over all. Her damage isn't bad late game but, Her lack of mobility is what makes her bad. She can get picked of so easily by the enemy assassins, mage or a big push by the enemy tank would be it.
hanabi was my first marksman hero and still my favourite until now, i feel most confident with hanabi. however, it's is very true that she lacks a lot of things from other marksmen. i'm really looking forward to the revamp and hope that it's actually good

Hanabi is supposed to be rival for Hayabusa in lore(she's literally from the same clan) but damn, their performance difference is like heaven and earth. I hope they revamp her soon and give her "ninja-like" skill that can execute their target or great mobility.

Someone who is rival to an ace (Hayabusa) from the clan is not supposed to be this weak. I personally don't like her ult and second skill, well at least her ult is still useful to control the area but her second skill is almost useless.
I love using Hanabi and she's actually one of my favorite marksman to use but as you said she needs improvement to catch up on the other marksmen she's easy to use but you need to be careful with your positioning and your timing of when you'll attack. But still I love her ❤❤
Finally, someone said so. I'm a Hanabi main and since I've started using her, I've always felt in my mind that she is underperforming. She's always been a livestock for Assassins and Mages even tho she has CC Immunity :< Mobility - ❌ Early Game Damage - ❌ Late Game Potential - ( Depends ) Overall damage - ❌ Burst - ❌ Hanabi has a lot of potential, it's just she cannot seem to fit in the meta and I'm hoping that in her revamp, Moonton will do her justice
Just make her passive more shield, make her second skill more effective (when an enemy and minion is hit, she will have a movement boost, and lesser cd) and lastly, more lifesteal and faster animation on her ult and wider range+radius
I think the best option would be to revamp her passive so that she still can run from it. Like in another game, there's a passive of getting extra speed after her shield used (for her passive) or maybe lessen the CD of other skills if her shield used.
My suggestion for hanabi's rework is adding a movement speed or dash if the 2nd skill deal damage to the enemy heroes or doing like gusion's 1st kill that targeted even the wall or heroes
it's true that a hero will shine in the hands of a player who knows how to utilize them properly, but hanabi nowadays can be easily countered and bullied. i like her skillset, i feel like she is a good marksman with a long poking skill, anti cc and built in lifesteal passive, but she's not good enough. hopefully the revamp does her justice without fully changing her signature passive
In general, I don't like giving most heroes a blink skill. But thematically, it fits Hanabi so I'm all for it. I wish that instead of proliferating blink skills, they'd instead give MS boost. Specially to ranged heroes since it will also help them in kiting enemies.

Her issue is her lack of escaping capabilities, i could say that her mechanic right now is fun, but if her skill 1 was her passive and got replaced by an escape skill, that would increase her viability and how fun she is at the same time

Her first skill and 2nd skill is what should be adjust : First skill : When it's off, she deals 1.25x damage. When it's on, she deals normal damage. Damage of petal blade is 50% at all levels. Petal blade can hit only once the same target (because it deals too much damage you're next to your turret) and no more lifesteal reduction. The only thing that upgrades is her lifesteal. 2nd skill : CD : 8s-5s Damage : 300-500 (+125%) The additional damage can crit. Her 2nd skill has 40% lifesteal in it. It scales with her lifesteal too. When it hits non-hero units, she receives 40% of original. Each succesful hit against hero make her CD go up by 1s. (I think it would be fair because it's easy to dodge her 2nd skill). Passive : Her shield is 40% of her basic HP No more lifesteal reduction. It works with heal too. No more benefits like CC immunity and movement speed. Her Basic HP is 2200-5000. Basic movement speed is 260. Items like haa's claws active much earlier. She would be more like a "tanky" marksman who has a lot of lifesteal and decent damage.
I would say adjust her passive by adding, when her hp is at 30% she will be invisible (like nata) for 5seconds and it has a cd of 100sec after being activated OR when her HP is 50% and lower her skills change. First skill stays the same, second skill a dash that makes you invisible for 2 seconds, her ult dmg and marks the enemies hit increasing the dmg from the first skill and slows them. Idk
The fact that she won the revamped event but we never heard of her revamp like *ever* . Even akai, 'grock and zhask' (kinda) got a revamped before her😭
I have been playing for like thousands of matches with her the problem she have is she is easily killable, her passive kinda sucks, she is very very very much item dependent and team dependent, because she is squishy jungler usually kills her during early game, during late game her dmg potential is pretty good but you need to play safe and hide most of the time, her ult works way too slow most of the time and her mana is empty most of the time
She's my main. I love her even though she needs a rework. Just keep her first skill and passive as it is and she's gonna boss the meta. Already a god in late game.
The worst marksman in game. Very easy to kill, any smart enemy will feed on this hero. She needs a dash skill to be good or she will remain as bad as she is now.

She does good damage though if you balance her build in early game, she needs a bit more mid game damage though because lifesteal ain't enough
What I found is that Hanabi is really good when partnered with 4 other heroes with cc like stun, immoblize, and supress. However, if the enemy is all substain heroes and knows a little trick where Hanabi deals so little damage due to her bounce triggering Antique Cuirass damage reduction which apparently 3 times for each hero which means it can trigger 15 times if all 5 heroes use it making Hanabi essentially do double digit damage.

My proposed revamped skills: 1st skill- no need to change i think since its her trademark skill 2nd skill- after using this, give Hanabi a dash 3rd skill - Faster activation of cc effect; kiiled enemies during the skill's cc duration will spawn higanbana on ramdom enemy Passive- she will get additional movement speed from items
My rework for her would be: Passive: she can switch her choice of weapon in 2, what she's using now and a kunai but only in base. Kunai gives 10% phys. pen. Cd - 30s 1st skill is still the same but on kunai, she throws a lot instead of bouncing to minions and heroes to give her a bit of a farming edge. 2nd skill: shunpo (2 stacks)- blinks anywhere its pointed at. Cd - 8s even if maxed out Ulti #1- once it hits a hero, it immobilize them and its spins continuously for 1.5s. if there are 5 heroes, she throws 5 at the same time. Ulti #2- giant kunai bomb, when hit, reduces armor by 25%, slows enemies by 2s, and similar to the previous, 5 enemy hero = 5 giant kunai bomb. I know passive is similar to beatrix but a ninja has multiple weapons in their arsenal, be happy that its not a 'substitution technique' where a shadow clone will replace her similar to nana's passive but has a shorter cooldown OR summoning a shadow clone every 30s and lasts for 10s unless killed. That's my opinion even though i only used her when free.
Regardless of the mobility, hanabi is a monster in the late game and what makes her weak is not her skills but the current meta/heroes available to easily kill her. That's why positioning is very important, as well the right items. But I also think that she should be buffed or revamped and give her mobility and semi-blink if possible, also her ultimate at least buff the stun and the range so that she can have more time to hit freely.
She's fine she right now she can handle the current meta think of her as a support/marksman use her ult to trap enemy hero and 2nd skill to slow the enemy in Teamfight the enemy have good coordination the match was so intense as I am in Mythic IV playing she made me Mythic III and I chose her because they have alot of cc Everytime I face Miya she can't win against me I can literally use Ult+Basic attack+2nd skill to slow with this their Miya can't win🤣
I thought she was supposed to be revamped next after the Kagura and Hayabusa revamp in the past and i remember them teasing it too in an fb page. But if ever she gets a revamp i hope it would be like this: Passive: Ninjutsu: Scarlet Shadow When Hanabi's HP drops to 40% She gains 150% movement speed for 1.5 secs then she leaves behind a untargetable shadow with 150% attack speed (the shadow doesnt gain hanabi's item effects) that hits nearby enemies for 2 secs after that the shadow returns to hanabi and heals her for 1/4 of the total hp dealt to the enemy 1st skill: Ninjutsu: Petal barrage Passive: Hanabi gains lifesteal for every skill point of this ability. Hanabi deals half damage to lane minions while this skill is active Hanabi's basic attacks bounces to a nearby enemy after it hits and will deal 1/8 damage less to its next target for each enemy that it bounces to. If there are no nearby enemy it will spin in the air for 0.5 sec and when it drops it deals damage in a small aoe. 2nd skill: Ninjutsu: Exploding paper bomb Hanabi shoots a paper bomb in a target direction. If it hits a enemy hero it will attatch itself for 2secs and then it ignites itself damaging the hero that its attatched to. Hanabi can immediately ignite the bomb if she hits the target hero with basic attacks or skills. If hanabi succesfuly ignited the bomb she gains a small percent of mana and her cooldown for her 2nd skill is decreased. Ulti: Ninjutsu: Crimson petal Hanabi shoots a crimson petal in a target direction. If it hits a hero it will explode in a big aoe and deals immediate damage, after 1 sec the enemies damaged by the skill will be immobilized for 1 sec. If it doesnt hit a hero it will return to hanabi and it refunds 1/4 of its cooldown. If this skill hits a enemy hero attatched with Ninjutsu: Exploding paper bomb the paper bomb will instead explode in a small aoe and enemy heroes hit with the skill will instead be stunned for 2 secs.
Hanabi needs to be babysit in early and mid game but once she reaches level 10 with 4 items, she can solo kill Lord. It just really depends on your items and as well as your positioning.
Hanabi is supposed to be the RIVAL OF HAYABUSA in their lore. So Hanabi having a marksman role is a very lame reason to not put some mobility on her arsenal. And yes Elgin, just like you said ninjas are supposed to be agile,fast and hard to catch. To summarize it all, she must be the marksman with the highest mobility level...
The only way i can think of is her kunai skill, she should be able to teleport on where her kunai is like minato skill that will give her a great mobility, and leaving a clone on where her last position is,if hitted it will explode and deal dmg AOE

dont forget that antique cuirass counter's hanabi's 1st skill, pair that up with blade armor and dominance ice and her dmg is truly unexistent. However pairing her 1st skill with support emblem avarice actually helps you get a slight gold lead over your opponent. (her base dmg doesnt exist at all, so why rely on dmg emblem, better rely on items instead).
agree with this one. That antique cuirass is so painfull when the enemy teams uses 3 antique cuirass. like lol, her danage in her first skill will get lower as usual. even crit damage will not help to deal more damage....
i remember hororo chan making a video on hanabi and antique cuirass. the crit damage goes all the way down to just 10 if every enemy uses antique. pretty sad, but funny at the same time 😂
She is the easiest mm to kill even when I use Thamuz I can reach her and kill her without being afraid to die in seconds (like against Miya for example , although with the new tank items she ain't much of a trouble either)
Used to watch him so long back. Really shows a lot of skill gap, micro management and positioning as well as dmg threats and map awareness between him and us glory players. I guess he doesn't play seriously anymore, but a stark contrast can be seen over subtle differences.
I might love to play hanabi a lot and love her gameplay, but even I gotta agree she's kinda a free stats non skill expressive mm compared to the other marksman. her gimmick is literally she gets free lifesteal and lifesteal becomes shield when overflowed. her first skill is just a perma enhanced basic attack and second skill is just free mana. only the ult and positioning is skill expressive and even layla can bring more on the table [ but layla has no free stats (: ] , meaning hanabi is basically a range brainless hero only good for her free lifesteal and shield which is a kinda sad truth I gotta accept for one of my favorite marksman to play :(
Hanabi is the only marksman that can't deal enough damage in the early game tbh, Layla does have her 1st skill and passive to harass, Miya has her 1st skill and passive, Moskov has CC and dash, Melissa has her 1st skill and 2nd skill for poking and harass. Also Hanabi can be countered easily with Antique item.
@@rossalbertdelacruz6751 Yes, her petal bounce counts as skill damage. Hororo-chan tested it a while ago. If there are multiple enemies with Dreadnought Armor/Antique Cuirass, her physical attack can easily be halved (sometimes even quartered).💀

she is still my favorite marksman. However, her no movement ability makes her really really vulnerable to faster moving champions and diving champs... Most of them have cc that kicks in after they attack so your passive is useless. It would also be nice to see some more items geared towards her kit imo.
As a Hanabi Main with a 3,600+ Matches, I really love her but I can also say that she is the worst marksman on the current meta. Even I want to pick her but there are so many other options to pick rather than her. I hope the developers may gave her a dash skill. Or maybe give her a stack like when she earned upto 3 stacks from her 2nd skill (just like Lylia's 2nd skill that stacks upto 5), then she can make her skill 2 an enhance skill that can give her a dash skill depends on the number of stacks she earned. Meaning, if she gets a full 3 stacks, then she can dash upto 3 dashes. Then the developers can make her as a Marksman/Assasin Role. I think she will fit the meta and bring back the scarlet flower shine again. ♥️♥️♥️
Ditto. Most times i need to shake myself off from wanting to play hanabi when there are other better mms to use to help secure that win esp in solo ranked games. Its only safe to play her when u have supportive teammates who would most probably be your friends instead of some randoms. And i generally play solo so hanabi is shelved for now.
Ive played hanabi since i was an elite and all matches Ive played her was in ranked. In Epic, i can barely play her because of others saying we don't need another marksman... Even tho the guy has 30% wr with his layla and barely 100 matches
Honestly it's kinda true, there are many counters for hanabi, moonton should really add a escape skill but in exchange mana cost is greatly increased then they can buff her damage too I prefer using flicker the most when my enemies have many cc skills but if they have no dash skill and if my opponent is a squishy heroe then I'll go for inspire, inspire is kinda good for hanabi in my opinion it's good too for clashes you can use ult + inspire + multiple basic attacks + first skill but kinda sad hanabi isn't meta ;((
Now inspire is getting nerfed, blade armor is buffed so hard.....Hanabi can't do shit now...shed die trying to take a quarter of HP on tanks....even with non tanks plus antique....even how hard you play her...you'd win mostly because the enemy is stupid or is trolling. It's just pure luck anymore she's that bad.
As a Hanabi main, it hurts that Hanabi is the weakest MM currently... Even though it's true... I think they should make her 1st Skill steal enemy's Movement Speed or whenever her 2nd Skill hit an enemy hero, her 2nd Skill would have a Second Phase where when tapped, she'll have Movement Speed boost. They can also make her Ultimate pass through the enemy Heroes and immobilize enemy Heroes it passed through and bloom like hpw her Ultimate is
Speed boost on using second attack. Hayabusa second skill shadows on hanabi third skill, that can be used just like haya skills so she can change position while using the flower thing or reaching the enemy position for last hit
Finally it had to be said. Hanabi is the worse marksman no cap. Bruno is cheaper to get than Hanabi and he's way better so I advise you not to buy Hanabi. Also epic people stop first picking Hanabi and Lesley
I actually agree with kuya elgin, she is an item reliant marksman. maybe the developers should adjust her capabilities during the early game for her to be included in the meta.
I think hanabi is perfect as they are There's just tougher competition So, perhaps make the shield tougher And lower the cooldown on her ultimate? I find her ultimate to be really useful Hitting just the tank with it could stop them from getting closer And might deter the Squishies from engaging without their tank in position I think they just add some sort of aoe damage on the intial hit of her ultimate and that's all Playing against a late game hanabi basically puts your team to practice social distancing

If ever she gets revamped, I prefer this revamping idea of mine (You can agree or disagree 😄) (New Name for her Passive) Ninjutsu: Higanbana Equinox: When Hanabi deals damage to an Enemy, she will gain stacks of shurikens. When she reaches 4 Stacks, she will enter a state called "Higanbana Equinox" which helps enhancing her skills. Her skills will be enhanced with true damage and have a wide range. Her "Higanbana Equinox" State will increase her lifesteal and this state will stop at 14.7 seconds, the cooldown of it is 5.9 seconds (her Passive will be on a cooldown mode to reload her shurikens) 1st Skill: Petals of Shadows Her 1st skill will give her an effect where her basic Attack can bounce towards enemies (it is still the same to her old one) but, if her 1st skill still keeps on bouncing, a shadow of her basic Attack will appear (which doubles her damage) with the help of this, she can slow her enemies down by just bouncing her 1st skill, however if her 1st skill doesn't bounce, then her Shadow Skill won't work (This skill is a great way on going into clashing) 2nd Skill: Barrage of Lily Hanabi can use this skill to immobilize and slow her enemies down. When casting this skill, it helps her Damage increase and it will immobilize it's enemies (this skill is the same as her old one but on a wider range like the second Skill of valir) She can steal Mana of her enemies and makes them trap. If her 1st Skill and 2nd Skill combines each other, then she will deal the enemy with a "Toxic Poison" if she cast her 2nd Skill First and use her 1st skill, the Lily flower will show up and deals poison into the enemies. Ultimate: Ninja Blades Hanabi will increase it's attack speed and movement speed while casting this skill. Her ultimate will allow her to enter the "Higanbana Equinox" which deals great damage to the enemies. (The range is like a wide circle around her). When casting this skill, she would ambush her enemies with Numerous Blades around her area and makes them suppressed after hitting those blades. After casting this skill, she will receive a dash where she can use it as an advantage to escape. This skill can help her escape with different situations like being chased, being ambushed and etc. Now for her Higanbana Equinox: 1st Skill Petal of Souls: Hanabi will increase her basic attack range and gains a shield. The bouncing Effect will still be there but this skill can enhance her range and gains a shield when dealing damage to the enemies, the longer she fights, the longer her range will wide and the longer her shield will stay 2nd Skill Poisonous Shurikens (The range is like the same as her old second Skill but a wider one) When casting this skill, the enemies will be slowed and receives a "Toxic Poison" when her shurikens comes back from her, the enemies will be immobilize by 2.7 seconds. Ultimate: Ninjutsu Shadow Hanabi will receive 1 Replica of her (A Total of two hanabi) Of what skill you use is what your shadow would use as well, this could help you to decimate every enemy hero who stands in your way. (Basically it's like the same as Nathan's Ultimate but her Shadow is beside her, you can control it's location the same as vexana's ulti and you can teleport to it's certain location) Overall she deserves a Revamp, this is just my opinion though 😄
As a MM she lacks: - Dash/movement speed - Burst damage - Attack speed (yeah her 1st skill gave a lot continues damage but it depend on crowded enemy/minion)
I don't think she is the worst mm but in mythic rank, players often use early-game hero so she is a bad choice. But once she gets her 1st item she's starting to get annoying, her basic atk range is longer than a normal mm and it can bounce too, and she doesn't need lifesteal item cus of her 1st skill which allows her to go full dmg.
Umm did you know there's a thing called "Anti cuirass"? If even just 3 enemies use that item your attack will fall below 100 even in full build. So she's literally useless in higher elo which knows how her passive works
Can you give me a marksman that's worse than her? That's right none. At least Layla has consistent early, mid to late game damage with awesome range. She even has movement speed buff. Miya has a CC-purify ultimate. And has attack speed buff and a clone to help her. What does Hanabi have? That Passive shield that doesn't block anything because it's damn squishy? Arguably, she has the worst late game damage out of any marksman.

Bammm...So there's 3 for you and most of the mages also pick defnesive item nowadays. They won't lose any damage building 1 defensive item if the benefits will be making 1 enemy pointless. Its all about the value and most of the meta heroes can still dish crazy amount of damage even with 1 defensive item

I guess they need to put a dash on her 2nd skill like everytime she dashes she throws the scroll like Valentina dashes at the same time throwing Arcane Shade. Or like she throws the scroll then she can teleport there (by pressing 2nd skill again) once the scroll lands on the ground.

I started using Hanabi when she was first released. I think that's like 3, 4 or 5 years ago. Honestly cant remember exectly since I joined ML in 2017. She had a really high percentage of lifesteal and everyone had gone crazy picking and banning her in RG. She could actually outplay at least 3 other heroes alone and sometimes all 5 of them. Moonton decided to adjust that and it was okay coz I thought it was reasonable. Then they nerfed her damage and then continued to nerf her nonstop and then that's it. Nothing happened after that nerf. She became the queen of lifesteal to the worst MM real quick. It's painful to see that all other MMs are getting their revamps and buffs but nothing for Hanabi. Moonton said she would get her revamp but that was like almost a year ago. I still use her in RG but I always end up getting frustrated. Right now, I would say that she's more of a liability in the team than an asset. Hanabi is my favorite hero. I love her but I hate the fact that I want to win more than I wanted to pick her in RG. She deserves a revamp. Hanabi deserves better. Give her the "NINJA" abilities she deserves.

If hanabi will get a revamp, I suggest they do something like this.
Passive - stays the same then add the effects of her 1st skill. So she wont be consuming that much mana in the early game. Or rather remove the mana consumption completely.
1st skill - shadow backstep
Makes a dash backward then have a shield which shares the effect of the passive regardless of the hp she has. So she can have a cc immunity even with less hp. To make it balance. Just add a duration on the shield.
2nd skill - make it steal movement speed or hp anything is fine.
Ss - faster casting animation and immobilize effect then add a slow on the area to increase its proc chance.

I've been suggesting that her second skills should have a second phase, if she hits an enemy there's a second phase of her second skill and it would be a blink skill or Her passive shield allows her to be more tanky/have more shield if there are more Enemies around her if they won't give her a blink skill

After trying her out again after leaving her in the darkness for months now, I realized Hanabi relies on hiding, ambush, and pretty much having protection from her teammates. Hanabi can deal lots of damage to enemies, especially in clashes and team fights. Hanabi is not that bad, it's just that she can't rely on herself alone. Hanabi needs support and protection from tanks, while also keeping herself attentive and aware of her surroundings.

Hanabi has always been one of those easy to use but hard to master MM's so this is my Idea for her revamp.
Passive: The shield should be changed into added movement speed instead because of how easy it is to remove from her. They should also add a 2nd passive on her wherein her basic attacks would bounce back the target atleast 2-3 times.
1st Skill: Her old 2nd skill should be her new first skill to slow and damage the enemies and remove the mana gain from it since its useless with the new passive.
2nd Skill: Hanabi can teleport to any direction and leave a kunai on the ground and she could click the skill again to tp back to her Kunai.
Ult:She would create a circle and the circle would follow her around and enemies inside the skill will be slowed and allies that are in it will be speeded up.
This set of skills allows hanabi to have a chance to escape and to deal damage at the same time. While also giving allies a chance to fight back within her ultimate.

I used to like Hanabi as marksman when I was new to ML. Later on it faded because there are lots of other marksman than could better win games. I just hope she gets revamped such that her gameplay changes significantly to be able to stand on higher play.

I think the best option would be to revamp her passive so that she still can run from it. Like in another game, there's a passive of getting extra speed after her shield used (for her passive) or maybe lessen the CD of other skills if her shield used.
My suggestion for hanabi's rework is adding a movement speed or dash if the 2nd skill deal damage to the enemy heroes or doing like gusion's 1st kill that targeted even the wall or heroes
I think it's better if her skill 1 and her passive will merge, so the new 1st skill would be a dash or movement speed.

In general, I don't like giving most heroes a blink skill. But thematically, it fits Hanabi so I'm all for it. I wish that instead of proliferating blink skills, they'd instead give MS boost. Specially to ranged heroes since it will also help them in kiting enemies.

Her first skill and 2nd skill is what should be adjust :
First skill :
When it's off, she deals 1.25x damage.
When it's on, she deals normal damage.
Damage of petal blade is 50% at all levels. Petal blade can hit only once the same target (because it deals too much damage you're next to your turret) and no more lifesteal reduction.
The only thing that upgrades is her lifesteal.
2nd skill :
CD : 8s-5s
Damage : 300-500 (+125%)
The additional damage can crit.
Her 2nd skill has 40% lifesteal in it. It scales with her lifesteal too. When it hits non-hero units, she receives 40% of original.
Each succesful hit against hero make her CD go up by 1s. (I think it would be fair because it's easy to dodge her 2nd skill).
Passive :
Her shield is 40% of her basic HP
No more lifesteal reduction. It works with heal too.
No more benefits like CC immunity and movement speed.
Her Basic HP is 2200-5000.
Basic movement speed is 260.
Items like haa's claws active much earlier.
She would be more like a "tanky" marksman who has a lot of lifesteal and decent damage.
I would say adjust her passive by adding, when her hp is at 30% she will be invisible (like nata) for 5seconds and it has a cd of 100sec after being activated OR when her HP is 50% and lower her skills change. First skill stays the same, second skill a dash that makes you invisible for 2 seconds, her ult dmg and marks the enemies hit increasing the dmg from the first skill and slows them. Idk

I have been playing for like thousands of matches with her the problem she have is
she is easily killable, her passive kinda sucks, she is very very very much item dependent and team dependent, because she is squishy jungler usually kills her during early game, during late game her dmg potential is pretty good but you need to play safe and hide most of the time, her ult works way too slow most of the time and her mana is empty most of the time

What I found is that Hanabi is really good when partnered with 4 other heroes with cc like stun, immoblize, and supress. However, if the enemy is all substain heroes and knows a little trick where Hanabi deals so little damage due to her bounce triggering Antique Cuirass damage reduction which apparently 3 times for each hero which means it can trigger 15 times if all 5 heroes use it making Hanabi essentially do double digit damage.
Nah. Hanabi cant contribute early game.

My proposed revamped skills:
1st skill- no need to change i think since its her trademark skill
2nd skill- after using this, give Hanabi a dash
3rd skill - Faster activation of cc effect; kiiled enemies during the skill's cc duration will spawn higanbana on ramdom enemy
Passive- she will get additional movement speed from items
My rework for her would be:
Passive: she can switch her choice of weapon in 2, what she's using now and a kunai but only in base. Kunai gives 10% phys. pen. Cd - 30s
1st skill is still the same but on kunai, she throws a lot instead of bouncing to minions and heroes to give her a bit of a farming edge.
2nd skill: shunpo (2 stacks)- blinks anywhere its pointed at. Cd - 8s even if maxed out
Ulti #1- once it hits a hero, it immobilize them and its spins continuously for 1.5s. if there are 5 heroes, she throws 5 at the same time.
Ulti #2- giant kunai bomb, when hit, reduces armor by 25%, slows enemies by 2s, and similar to the previous, 5 enemy hero = 5 giant kunai bomb.
I know passive is similar to beatrix but a ninja has multiple weapons in their arsenal, be happy that its not a 'substitution technique' where a shadow clone will replace her similar to nana's passive but has a shorter cooldown OR summoning a shadow clone every 30s and lasts for 10s unless killed. That's my opinion even though i only used her when free.

Regardless of the mobility, hanabi is a monster in the late game and what makes her weak is not her skills but the current meta/heroes available to easily kill her. That's why positioning is very important, as well the right items. But I also think that she should be buffed or revamped and give her mobility and semi-blink if possible, also her ultimate at least buff the stun and the range so that she can have more time to hit freely.

Passive: Ninjutsu: Scarlet Shadow
When Hanabi's HP drops to 40% She gains 150% movement speed for 1.5 secs then she leaves behind a untargetable shadow with 150% attack speed (the shadow doesnt gain hanabi's item effects) that hits nearby enemies for 2 secs after that the shadow returns to hanabi and heals her for 1/4 of the total hp dealt to the enemy
1st skill: Ninjutsu: Petal barrage
Passive: Hanabi gains lifesteal for every skill point of this ability. Hanabi deals half damage to lane minions while this skill is active
Hanabi's basic attacks bounces to a nearby enemy after it hits and will deal 1/8 damage less to its next target for each enemy that it bounces to. If there are no nearby enemy it will spin in the air for 0.5 sec and when it drops it deals damage in a small aoe.
2nd skill: Ninjutsu: Exploding paper bomb
Hanabi shoots a paper bomb in a target direction. If it hits a enemy hero it will attatch itself for 2secs and then it ignites itself damaging the hero that its attatched to. Hanabi can immediately ignite the bomb if she hits the target hero with basic attacks or skills. If hanabi succesfuly ignited the bomb she gains a small percent of mana and her cooldown for her 2nd skill is decreased.
Ulti: Ninjutsu: Crimson petal
Hanabi shoots a crimson petal in a target direction. If it hits a hero it will explode in a big aoe and deals immediate damage, after 1 sec the enemies damaged by the skill will be immobilized for 1 sec. If it doesnt hit a hero it will return to hanabi and it refunds 1/4 of its cooldown.
If this skill hits a enemy hero attatched with Ninjutsu: Exploding paper bomb the paper bomb will instead explode in a small aoe and enemy heroes hit with the skill will instead be stunned for 2 secs.
Hanabi needs to be babysit in early and mid game but once she reaches level 10 with 4 items, she can solo kill Lord. It just really depends on your items and as well as your positioning.
Sadly while babysitting hanabi, it'll mean 3v4 on the other lanes and turtle fights thus enemy team dominates easily
if the tank will babysit hanabi through early to mid then the enemy jungler will have the lead gold which will make ur team weaker than usual
Hanabi is supposed to be the RIVAL OF HAYABUSA in their lore. So Hanabi having a marksman role is a very lame reason to not put some mobility on her arsenal. And yes Elgin, just like you said ninjas are supposed to be agile,fast and hard to catch. To summarize it all, she must be the marksman with the highest mobility level...

dont forget that antique cuirass counter's hanabi's 1st skill, pair that up with blade armor and dominance ice and her dmg is truly unexistent.
However pairing her 1st skill with support emblem avarice actually helps you get a slight gold lead over your opponent. (her base dmg doesnt exist at all, so why rely on dmg emblem, better rely on items instead).

agree with this one. That antique cuirass is so painfull when the enemy teams uses 3 antique cuirass. like lol, her danage in her first skill will get lower as usual. even crit damage will not help to deal more damage....

She is the easiest mm to kill even when I use Thamuz I can reach her and kill her without being afraid to die in seconds (like against Miya for example , although with the new tank items she ain't much of a trouble either)

Used to watch him so long back. Really shows a lot of skill gap, micro management and positioning as well as dmg threats and map awareness between him and us glory players. I guess he doesn't play seriously anymore, but a stark contrast can be seen over subtle differences.

I might love to play hanabi a lot and love her gameplay, but even I gotta agree she's kinda a free stats non skill expressive mm compared to the other marksman. her gimmick is literally she gets free lifesteal and lifesteal becomes shield when overflowed. her first skill is just a perma enhanced basic attack and second skill is just free mana. only the ult and positioning is skill expressive and even layla can bring more on the table [ but layla has no free stats (: ] , meaning hanabi is basically a range brainless hero only good for her free lifesteal and shield which is a kinda sad truth I gotta accept for one of my favorite marksman to play :(

Hanabi is the only marksman that can't deal enough damage in the early game tbh, Layla does have her 1st skill and passive to harass, Miya has her 1st skill and passive, Moskov has CC and dash, Melissa has her 1st skill and 2nd skill for poking and harass. Also Hanabi can be countered easily with Antique item.

she is still my favorite marksman. However, her no movement ability makes her really really vulnerable to faster moving champions and diving champs... Most of them have cc that kicks in after they attack so your passive is useless. It would also be nice to see some more items geared towards her kit imo.

As a Hanabi Main with a 3,600+ Matches, I really love her but I can also say that she is the worst marksman on the current meta. Even I want to pick her but there are so many other options to pick rather than her. I hope the developers may gave her a dash skill. Or maybe give her a stack like when she earned upto 3 stacks from her 2nd skill (just like Lylia's 2nd skill that stacks upto 5), then she can make her skill 2 an enhance skill that can give her a dash skill depends on the number of stacks she earned. Meaning, if she gets a full 3 stacks, then she can dash upto 3 dashes. Then the developers can make her as a Marksman/Assasin Role. I think she will fit the meta and bring back the scarlet flower shine again. ♥️♥️♥️

Ditto. Most times i need to shake myself off from wanting to play hanabi when there are other better mms to use to help secure that win esp in solo ranked games. Its only safe to play her when u have supportive teammates who would most probably be your friends instead of some randoms. And i generally play solo so hanabi is shelved for now.
Ive played hanabi since i was an elite and all matches Ive played her was in ranked. In Epic, i can barely play her because of others saying we don't need another marksman... Even tho the guy has 30% wr with his layla and barely 100 matches

Honestly it's kinda true, there are many counters for hanabi, moonton should really add a escape skill but in exchange mana cost is greatly increased then they can buff her damage too I prefer using flicker the most when my enemies have many cc skills but if they have no dash skill and if my opponent is a squishy heroe then I'll go for inspire, inspire is kinda good for hanabi in my opinion it's good too for clashes you can use ult + inspire + multiple basic attacks + first skill but kinda sad hanabi isn't meta ;((

I think they should make her 1st Skill steal enemy's Movement Speed or whenever her 2nd Skill hit an enemy hero, her 2nd Skill would have a Second Phase where when tapped, she'll have Movement Speed boost. They can also make her Ultimate pass through the enemy Heroes and immobilize enemy Heroes it passed through and bloom like hpw her Ultimate is

I actually agree with kuya elgin, she is an item reliant marksman. maybe the developers should adjust her capabilities during the early game for her to be included in the meta.

Ninjutsu: Higanbana Equinox:
When Hanabi deals damage to an Enemy, she will gain stacks of shurikens. When she reaches 4 Stacks, she will enter a state called "Higanbana Equinox" which helps enhancing her skills. Her skills will be enhanced with true damage and have a wide range. Her "Higanbana Equinox" State will increase her lifesteal and this state will stop at 14.7 seconds, the cooldown of it is 5.9 seconds (her Passive will be on a cooldown mode to reload her shurikens)
1st Skill:
Petals of Shadows
Her 1st skill will give her an effect where her basic Attack can bounce towards enemies (it is still the same to her old one) but, if her 1st skill still keeps on bouncing, a shadow of her basic Attack will appear (which doubles her damage) with the help of this, she can slow her enemies down by just bouncing her 1st skill, however if her 1st skill doesn't bounce, then her Shadow Skill won't work (This skill is a great way on going into clashing)
2nd Skill:
Barrage of Lily
Hanabi can use this skill to immobilize and slow her enemies down. When casting this skill, it helps her Damage increase and it will immobilize it's enemies (this skill is the same as her old one but on a wider range like the second Skill of valir) She can steal Mana of her enemies and makes them trap. If her 1st Skill and 2nd Skill combines each other, then she will deal the enemy with a "Toxic Poison" if she cast her 2nd Skill First and use her 1st skill, the Lily flower will show up and deals poison into the enemies.
Ultimate:
Ninja Blades
Hanabi will increase it's attack speed and movement speed while casting this skill. Her ultimate will allow her to enter the "Higanbana Equinox" which deals great damage to the enemies. (The range is like a wide circle around her). When casting this skill, she would ambush her enemies with Numerous Blades around her area and makes them suppressed after hitting those blades. After casting this skill, she will receive a dash where she can use it as an advantage to escape. This skill can help her escape with different situations like being chased, being ambushed and etc.
Now for her Higanbana Equinox:
1st Skill
Petal of Souls:
Hanabi will increase her basic attack range and gains a shield. The bouncing Effect will still be there but this skill can enhance her range and gains a shield when dealing damage to the enemies, the longer she fights, the longer her range will wide and the longer her shield will stay
2nd Skill
Poisonous Shurikens
(The range is like the same as her old second Skill but a wider one) When casting this skill, the enemies will be slowed and receives a "Toxic Poison" when her shurikens comes back from her, the enemies will be immobilize by 2.7 seconds.
Ultimate:
Ninjutsu Shadow
Hanabi will receive 1 Replica of her (A Total of two hanabi) Of what skill you use is what your shadow would use as well, this could help you to decimate every enemy hero who stands in your way. (Basically it's like the same as Nathan's Ultimate but her Shadow is beside her, you can control it's location the same as vexana's ulti and you can teleport to it's certain location) Overall she deserves a Revamp, this is just my opinion though 😄
As a MM she lacks:
- Dash/movement speed
- Burst damage
- Attack speed (yeah her 1st skill gave a lot continues damage but it depend on crowded enemy/minion)

I don't think she is the worst mm but in mythic rank, players often use early-game hero so she is a bad choice. But once she gets her 1st item she's starting to get annoying, her basic atk range is longer than a normal mm and it can bounce too, and she doesn't need lifesteal item cus of her 1st skill which allows her to go full dmg.
Umm did you know there's a thing called "Anti cuirass"?
If even just 3 enemies use that item your attack will fall below 100 even in full build. So she's literally useless in higher elo which knows how her passive works

They won't lose any damage building 1 defensive item if the benefits will be making 1 enemy pointless.
Its all about the value and most of the meta heroes can still dish crazy amount of damage even with 1 defensive item

No the worst marksman is Granger (gold lane only). He loses to every marksman that has inspire in the early game and his late game damage is worse than all marksmen. He is ok at jungling

I guess they need to put a dash on her 2nd skill like everytime she dashes she throws the scroll like Valentina dashes at the same time throwing Arcane Shade. Or like she throws the scroll then she can teleport there (by pressing 2nd skill again) once the scroll lands on the ground.
