I have been working out and lifting for 3 years now and never thought that core and abs workout are not the same. This will greatly advance my workouts now, thank you so much for this information.
This is a great video! I am recovering from 3 bulging discs. I was one of those guys in the group fitness class lifting the heaviest and fastest because I always wanted to be the hardest worker in the room. I neglected so much important stuff life core training. I'm still learning but this video is great!
i’ve been training abs for 1-2 hours everyday for like 2-3 months now and i can’t seem to lose my lower/ love handle area do you think training it constantly is bad? should i do it 3-4 times a week? i’m not sore the next day because i’m used to it already , i do deadlifts for lower back workouts but i can’t seem to still lose my fat there, any recommendations? ( i’ve cut sugar and grease , i do have 1 snack cheat day once a week or 2 weeks of course )
So there is no evidence that "spot training" helps reduce fat in any specific area. The best way to help decrease fat mass is by finding that calorie deficit and incorporate training like a short HIIT session for calorie burning. But really it's overall about finding a calorie deficit.

Ma’am only my abdominal part is weak
