    It will be Little bit simple by using unflexible pipe except flexible pipe,because in case of flexible pipe when internal pressure decrease the outside air exert more pressure on it as result in shrinking of pipe which resist the flow of water to the upward direction.

    6:30 even with a powerful vacuum pump you can’t raise the water column above 10.3 meters [P=ρgh => h=(1.01x10^5)/(1000x9.8) => 10.306 meters] as the atmospheric pressure is finite. But you can apply additional +ve pressure on the water to push it well above 10.3 meters.

    At 10.33 meters of heights, pressure will get equalized to the 1 atmosphere and liquid can't be pulled up further by using any device. Simple fluid mechanics relation.

    1) The cohesive property of water
    water molecules tend to stick to each other and take each other along.
    2) water is much lighter than a cold drink
    btw this is my assumption. I am not too sure if this is true or not.

    Even if we apply full vacuum then we can suck upto only 10.3 m height for water ( ideally). No pump or vaccum can suck more than 10.3 m. In real situations the height can be reduced due to viscosity. For other fluids it varies with the density. Height is inversely proportional to density. Btw good practical experiment

    Yes if water you used then then it will comparatively more easier as cold drink has more salts than in water . If Volume is same ,mass becomes less when water is used so the th weight of water will be low than the cold drink , because of which it is easy in doing this

    It's basically creating partial vaccum pressure (let it be p) on the top side of straw.
    p+ρgh < Po or,
    (Po - p) > ρgh or,
    ∆p > ρgh
    Also, to create partial vaccum we need to pump out some air out of the straw, if the straw has diameter d, then the amount of air(n) to be pumped out ,
    n α V or,
    n α π(d²/4)h
    The minimum energy required to pull up the liquid is,
    E = πρgh²d²/8,
    Thus,
    The effort, and consequently the difficulty, to pull up the liquid depends on three parameters density of the liquid (ρ), height (h) and the diameter of the straw(d).

    Agar app power full vaccum/motor bhi lagayenge tabhibhi drink 8-9 m ke uppar nahi jathi after 8-9 m liquid starts to boil due to low atmospheric pressure isse cavitation form hotha he
