a garden sub-floor sounds really epic, so, here’s my idea for the garden sub-floor: in the courtyard basement, you find a special lever that opens the gate blocking the 2 inaccessible rooms, then, you enter them, get some lore, and find a special key. then, you make your way to door 99, and open it. you go through the little door inside, and end up inside this garden sub-floor. it’ll be 50 doors, with almost each room being blocked by vines. but shears are extremely common on this floor. you go through the 50 little rooms, and you find another normal door. you go through it, and it teleports you back inside the hotel into room 99. lemme know y’all’s thoughts on it.
Tbh I feel like it should be a short subfloor and it ends at door 99 like you said no portals involved the door should be covered with vines and you need to get shears to get rid of it while a boss is at the last door
Do you think maybe it would have the vine as a boss encounter? That’d be cool. Of course, the vine would have to either somehow travel through the portal to the subfloor or it’d just be part of the regular area of floor 2.

@HungryWarden what about a120, a90 and a60, there annoying in late game areas, there are modifiers that are harder than blitz would be, they could add it anyway, maybe they just make him rebound less

Now speaking of the possible entrances, it could be heavily related to the basement in courtyard, or the statue. The secret vine thing in door 152 may also be related to this new subfloor.
The statue seems like a bit of a random place to put it, and the Hotel already has a subfloor. I think there’s probably going to be some sort of valve you can activate like the ones in the Dam to raise the water level in Jeff’s shop so you can swim up to the pipe with the vine in it.
im pretty sure it will introduce a new light, because mischievous light is present at the room 61 in the rooms entrance with modifiers, and as u know curious light takes us to the rooms and backdoor, and i think the garden subfloor will introduce virdis light

However My theory is that this Subfloor might spawn in the Anchor D 3rd Floor or the top floor at the Nest, where players have to go up through the Ladder. It's the best Location i have predicted for the entrance to the 'Garden' subfloor will be
@PeggyB47 Could be, but It is better if it spawns in the Nest floor 2, so that Floor 2 looks as advanced as Floor 1(by advanced I mean Features). Also I think just like the greenhouse section, there might be another section which might start at Door 185 or Door 190, or maybe after 180, which functions will be similar to the Greenhouse like All the Entities gonna start attacking Together(For example Screech Hide Rush Ambush Eyes Snare Giggle).
1:43, as a lua scripter i can explain what is going on if the floor is not "Garden" then it repeats a code 15 times, it does the wait, multiplies game brightness by 3 and clamps, ensuring that a value does not fall below the minimum or exceed the maximum allowed range. then it gets a tween to set the game brightness to 0 after 2 seconds that was just the If floor == "Garden" part
That if statement is actually does not equal to, If you look closely you can see the tilda key next to the equal sign, which is this symbol, ~, incase people don’t know. ~= means does not equal to.
I think it would be cool if the subfloor was in the nest. Like when you activate all the anchors a secret passage way in an obscure part of the nest would open up
Or there would be something you activate in the Nest that will activate a staircase to take you up to the big vine holding a lamp post at Jeff’s Shop. That makes the most sense to me, because it is the place where you can see the vine the clearest. Or maybe the switch will cause the water level in Jeff’s shop to rise, subsequently allowing you to swim up to the pipe with the vine. Maybe they could have El Goblino comment on the rising water.
explaining what the script does: basically it checks if the floor ISN'T garden, yes "ISN'T", in LuaU aka. Roblox's Coding Language "~=" means "is not equal to", "==" means is equal to. if the floor isnt garden, it will play normal ambience stuff like at the courtyard and then it will "return" the code which means the code will stop after that line. if it is garden then it just makes the lighting effects more intense thats all
The more common lightning plus the possible entrance through the courtyard statue makes me think that maybe this garden is gonna be similar to the greenhouse... kind of like an extended version of it? I doubt it's gonna be a 1:1 comparison but I can see it borrowing a similar stormy ambience and needing to listen very closely for sound cues. That's just my two cents tho :P

I think a subfloor called “the deep” “the garden” or maybe even a subfloor to floor 3 could be “the dungeon” (we can prob guess it’s a castle so that’s why)
I theorize that the sublfloor will be behind one of those vine doors in the mines because the hotel has a subfloor so the mines should have one too. And in orderto open it your shears will need to be completely full and then be wasted on it and then will require a skull key from jeff's shop. Just like how to access the rooms you need two lockpicks and a skull key. Maybe it'll also be a thousand doors too
What I think of the entrance is that it maybe be in the mines, u know those garden rooms. Maybe there is gonna bea way to get up that vent in those rooms
I truly hope The Garden isn’t an overgrown cave, which I don’t think it is because you mentioned lightning. I really want to see an outdoor map. Similar to The Raveyard, from Pressure, only an overgrown garden. It would be so cool to see a garden subfloor that takes place entirely outside. What kind of entities do you think you would find if this were to be the case?
You might be able to open the statue through the cellar doors when you cut the vines with the shears both found in door 89. There could be a lever or button of sorts that opens the statue possibly leading to the sub-floor. Of course there's nothing important down there at the moment (besides gold) but maybe in a future update they could do something with it.
I have an idea, it might be a detour from the end of the hotel to somewhere around the middle of the mines. (probably 143) The subfloor could be a subfloor with 10 tricky puzzle rooms that you will need to do in a gloomy cave. Afterwards you will make it to the end and meet a snare boss, when you beat this boss you get a special badge & boost/item. You will most likely need shears during this subfloor to get in and to use. The room you get sent to in the mines will look like a ruined, overgrown grumble nest.
I'm unsure if it'd be in either the statue hidden passage or the greenhouse large door. I feel like having TWO sub levels in the same floor is kind of overkill, and it'd leave the mines with nothing in it still. It's possible that they'll add some area later on in the mines (likely in a place that has a higher up area that could be closer to the surface) to give access to the garden area.
Ey quick question: whats the significance of the rooms appearing at around door 60, does it have signifigance or is it just a game choice by the developers to make it easier to get to and re attempt?

I’m guessing that the entrace would be the statue as there would be no other reason why it is able to be seperated. I’m guessing that the room you can open in the courtyard with the shears would be where a lever or a puzzle related to the wingdings symbols in front of the statue (or another mechanism) to open the statue and enter it. Then I believe that the exit will be the one before door 100. If the door before door 100 is the exit, i think the subfloor would be an overgrown area of rooms that are similar to the room at door 100.
But,seeing that the "garden" is a subfloor of mines,I don't think that those entrances at hotel will be an entrance to the garden. It must be in the mines

I think the door that is in room 99 will be the exit from the garden and the statue will be the entrance since the statue is first and the door is the last.
i personally believe that we'll unlock this sub-floor via the greenhouse in floor 1 and then arrive to either near (or in) room 100 of floor 1 or the at the spawn point of floor 2 upon beating it
I just has the wackiest idea, but like what if the new subfloor you find in the mines, after beating it, leads back up to that big door at room 99? This would never happen in game and/or be added but its just a random thought

I really don't think that it would be behind those huge doors in door 99 because this one time I was speed running the greenhouse and I normally play on the lowest graphics so when i got to door 99 I saw that the door hadn't fully loaded in , so what i saw behind it was a drawer (the ones in the mines) and a minecart which was on like a rail and it was not a normal one ,it was like the one in door 102 you know when you flip the lever and it turns, yeah that one. (also sorry for making you read this much)

I don't think the garden will be in floor 1, mostly because floor 1 has 2 different sub areas already. there could be a new room in the mines with a hidden locked trapdoor (kinda like how to get to the rooms)
Ok guys huge prediction: the new subfloor entrance is under the statue and when your re-enter the hotel you appear at door 99 🎉 that would explains the 2 door

theres also the courtyard basement that could lead to it because there is a blocked door in there as well

I think the door that is in room 99 will be the exit from the garden and the statue will be the entrance since the statue is first and the door is the last.
The entrance is most likely going to be in the mines since the hotel already has a subfloor
i personally believe that we'll unlock this sub-floor via the greenhouse in floor 1 and then arrive to either near (or in) room 100 of floor 1 or the at the spawn point of floor 2 upon beating it
I just has the wackiest idea, but like what if the new subfloor you find in the mines, after beating it, leads back up to that big door at room 99? This would never happen in game and/or be added but its just a random thought

I really don't think that it would be behind those huge doors in door 99 because this one time I was speed running the greenhouse and I normally play on the lowest graphics so when i got to door 99 I saw that the door hadn't fully loaded in , so what i saw behind it was a drawer (the ones in the mines) and a minecart which was on like a rail and it was not a normal one ,it was like the one in door 102 you know when you flip the lever and it turns, yeah that one.

I don't think the garden will be in floor 1, mostly because floor 1 has 2 different sub areas already. there could be a new room in the mines with a hidden locked trapdoor (kinda like how to get to the rooms)
I hope this adds the third architect, aka mischievous light the same way rooms added curious light.
the red light is more likely to appear in a main floor, so i doubt he will appear in the garden.

Ok guys huge prediction: the new subfloor entrance is under the statue and when your re-enter the hotel you appear at door 99 🎉 that would explains the 2 door
