Hahaha, I said on this channel one time that the Philippines might become the Concert Capital of the World because every artist, whether local or foreign, that is doing a concert here, is always sold out, even though the economy is still developing stage. It only shows Filipinos are crazy about attending live concerts. If the economy keeps on growing, more and more Filipinos will be able to afford concert tickets, and the government and event organizers know it, which is why we are seeing so many indoor stadiums under renovation or construction throughout the entire country. Maybe they are predicting that the country can become the entertainment capital of the world because Filipinos love music.

I even joined a choir competition in highschool even though I'm not a singer. I don't have a choice because we need to reach the minimum number of members to join and it was graded so not bad. It was a great experience actually.

Please check Avril Lavigne singing I'm With You during her concert in Manila. The last part when she let the crowd sing in acapella was the best. I love watching concerts of international artists here in the Philippines. My favorite crowd moment is Ed Sheeran singing Tenerife Sea. And in one his interviews he said that the Philippines is always the best crowd for him. They're loud but it's not rude as per Ed hehe
We sing together in church along with the choir but I noticed nowadays, people don't sing along as much anymore, probably because we wear mask in church and it's hard to sing with a mask on 😊
I was there with my husband ❤, it's an amazing experience to be part of the choir 😊😊😊
i guess this stems from the fact that most of us goes to church from very early days that we are familiar in singing with the choir followed by a long list of karaoke sessions even when there's no celebration or festivities at all. i always thought it was just normal, it was a shock for me when i learned this doesn't happen in other countries. thank you Waleska and Efra for appreciating the culture.

We go to school in the Philippines , we always sing , at the first hour singing our national anthem , hanging out with friends we sing the latest trend of songs , while eating our lunches and snacks we sing to entertain , in the middle of the day we are given a command not choice but to participate in a group’s skit , if you don’t know how to dance singing will be the next choice to do or vice versa , in all of our formative years we participated in all singing tasks that was given to us , May it be in school , churches and lastly our houses have karaokes in them so if we are bored , excited, and having a party no choice but sing karaoke as well! 😂

Most Filipinos have some kind of music background.Most schools have a music subject as part of the curriculum…mind you not an elective subject and that is every year from 1st grade to high school and every year is pitted against each other for the annual singing competition.

I would to recommend the U2 Concert in the Philippine Arena December 2019
One of the best concert ever.
Flashback Elementary/Primary school, starting Grade 2 or 3, under Music Subject in school, all of us are asked to sing over piano, then we are assigned under Alto, Soprano, Bass, or Tenor. Then we are default part of the Church Choir every Wednesday 4 PM (schedule for school kids), and also on Sunday 3PM sched on alternate with other schools. I remember I was in Soprano 1.. lol. I think it’s a default for Philippine Schools.

During my elementary days long long time ago, we had a music subject. We have a teacher who teaches us the notes. And the whole class will sing a song. I belong to the middle voice. That’s why we Filipinos can sing most of us. Our teacher, if she can hear someone is out of tune she will be in practice after our class. One on one practice with our teacher.😊😃😁
