It's amazing how Sweetie Bot manages to be completely ridiculous, but at the same time she's by far the deepest character the series has, and every scene of hers contains a subtle, brilliant joke about how obviously she's a robot.
It's like Lauren Faust and Frank Oz had a hilarious brony lovechild.

@@hoaxer1490 I know this is 3 months old, but Rarity is secretly the robot in this scene.. Sweetie Bot is what's known as a cyborg. Unlike a robot, Sweetie Bot has a soul because she was born as a pony (Later gaining mechanical body parts after what one can only assume was a terrible injury). That's why nobody reacts to how obviously mechanical she is. They all know about what happened to her, but they don't talk about it because... rude.

Sweetiebot consistently recognizes the nature of life and expresses emotion beyond what a non-sentient being should be able to experience. Sweetie's decision to replace Rarity with Applejack in her "heart drive" and creating an "I love you" artwork demonstrates that. If she wasn't capable of feeling emotion or being aware of it, she would not be able to act on it without direct command.
It's taken me this long to realize that the one egg per sentient being thing is a joke about Sweetie Belle being a robot. That's why there's only one egg between the two of them.
When ever sweetie bell says "yes I love -put in sister name-" it's so heart warming ,despite this being a parody

This is reaching the alarming point where it's getting better then the songs in the actual show.
Omg, I think I just noticed something. At 1:35, when she sings "life is worth protecting, now, place it in that giant hat!" (also in the intro, but with missing words), they are putting an egg (life) inside a basket (which Spike calls a giant hat in the first episode of FiW), while at the same time it's a metaphor saying that Sweetie Bot completely trusts her sister (it applies to both Applejack and Rarity; AJ wears a giant hat, Rarity makes them).
This is genius.

I think it was more so that being alive is so great because while there is pain, there is also joy. They juxtaposition of the two creates fulfillment.

Anyone notice Sweetiebot's song is almost a perfect parody of one of Tobuscus' "literal trailers"? She's not really singing a song so much as commentating on the action. Still, it works really well with the scene and I love that episode ^_^

we have already made machines that learn through trial and error, they actually adapt utilizing their programming, which on a base level we do as well, we as a human have programming, which keeps us from doing things that we could easily do, like biting your own finger off. Once a computer can learn and adapt it can become sentient.
