Yeah I get your point. I guess I'm preferring a system change as I've heard there are LED downlights now available that have inbuilt transformers which sounds like an even better idea.

Hi thanks for replying. What I would prefer to do is to do away with tranformers altogether. That's why I asked if these had inbuilt transformers.
