Wombie not really an acoustic, it’s an acoustic style steel strung electric guitar. Actually has more in common with a strat than a classical nylon acoustic.

+MarcusTDM - It's absolutely a steel string acoustic guitar that happens to be fitted with pickups, and then at one point run through a compression/distortion effect. It is nothing like a Stratocaster, which is a fully solid body electric guitar.
b minor you missed the point entirely, well done for pointing out it’s nothing like a strat! My point is it isn’t much like a traditional classic nylon guitar either, other than how it looks. It’s an electric guitar, the air box behind it does absolutely nothing as uses pick ups for the sound and not a microphone. Yes people call it an acoustic, it can be played as an acoustic, though it’s not here, I’m aware of that, but for the purists it’s not really.
+MarcusTDM - no, you're just wrong. It's an acoustic guitar. Absolutely. Period. I think it may even be a Martin, probably the most famous acoustic guitar maker in the world. It's a steel string acoustic, like is used in Country, Bluegrass, Acoustic Rock etc. Yes, it is different than a classical nylon string guitar, but it is still an acoustic guitar. Sound absolutely is generated by the body - there are both acoustic (microphonic) and electric (magnetic) pickups installed. The majority of the tune was using just the acoustic pickup, only the distorted part used the magnetic pickup.

I have listened to the full show over and over again on Spotify and it just keeps on getting better. The songs are so good and the comedy is delivered with brilliant timing. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
