Rastafari has adopted the ideology of other sky deity religions. i.e. Based on fantasy and mythology rather than its freedom fighting, Afrocentric roots.
Also, we black people in the Caribbean are from West Africa - we really have no ancestral ties to Ethiopia. Our roots are Nigerian, Ghanaian, Togo, Benin etc.
Those bobos and rastas "returning" to Ethiopia find themselves looked upon as strange and alien people, living on poor quality land that Selassie left for these people.

I was with him on the historical, but he lost me on the theological. All unfalsiable. There’s no way to even prove what’s in an unseen world, so why even make that claim. Not all tribes took part in african spirituality . Some if us tribes have always been in biblical faith , Abrahamic faith before colonialism. We wrote the scriptures but they were interpreted by the white man for his own agendas in to religion.
