This video shows you how to install a new variable valve timing solenoid in your 2006-2011 Honda Civic. If the variable valve timing solenoid in your vehicle is stuck or clogged, causing your engine to not run properly, you may notice reduced fuel efficiency, sputtering, rough running or stalling in your engine. Solenoids usually need to be replaced once they begin to fail.

This video has camera angles showing the back of the solenoid, bolt and electrical connector locations, that no other video I have found includes. This makes a DIY guy like me feel a lot more confident about being able to tackle this project. Excellent!!
It's worked!! My car wouldn't pass 3500 rpm and I count figure our why but then I replaced this and it worked!!!!! Now it drives soooo good make sure to change oil right away after

Changing my VVT gasket tomorrow the Hondas have a leak that usually occurs from this area.
Do I need to drain the oil before I replace this ?

My fn2 vtec light comes on but vtec doesnt kick in no more and it pulls slugish
