I agree with that. The feelings he had for her were attached to the flash cards he carried with him an once he realized she was the one who made them he would have been able to associate that feeling with her again
You two before episode: "This gonna be so sad" After the episode: "I'm so happy" Charlotte sure is a masterpiece anime. It takes it's time where it needs to. It's nice you enjoyed this too so much as me.
They did almost everything right, the only thing I hate is the romance part between Yuu and Nao feels a little rushed tho. But still an incredible anime!
I think Angel Beats had the focus on delivering emotions. Charlotte focused on story telling. Both did their thing in their own nature. And they both are good.
@@nero7469 I only cried when the lady with red hair sang to the brother of the girl I was so happy that he was getting better. when the mc’s sister died I was more mad then sad because it was pretty predictable not that the girl would attack her but that she was going to die I thought she would die from the sickness at the start and when pou died I was pretty upset I know I’m missing some people but I’m not good with names and it’s 5 in the morning and I finished it all night also I saw a comment on the episode where pou dies and Mc gets his eye cut that said “he died” and I thought the mc was going to die it was annoying cause it really looked like they had him beat thanks for reading all of this if you did
Just a theory, maybe Sala also has time leap thats why she"bartered her eyes with God" and repeatedly using the ability then blinding herself just so she can become sucessful with the band?
You two have such good timing to watch these shows. The guy who made Angel Beats and Charlotte hasn't made a new series in forever, literally 5 years since Charlotte. The guy Yoshiyuki Asai, is working on a new original Anime called "The Day I Became A God" that's set to release October 2020. edit: That guy's the director. The writer is Jun Maeda. Both haven't had any new works for 5 years.
what a great anime and a great reaction. this anime barely has any reactions for some reason and its honestly a shame because this anime is really good. the comedy is great, the emotional parts really gets to you and the characters are really fun to follow. also, it touches the subject of coping with loss and depression as well as other delicate subjects in a way not many shows do.
This episode right here, was what really elevated this series for me. So many original animes would have just stop on the last episode. This was a great ending.
As far as your guy’s My anime list (if you do make one, I’m not asking for it but Incase) what my friends and I do is we wait a few days to a week or 2, before we rate our stuff because we don’t want are ratings to be affected by the satisfaction or dissatisfaction of the last episode, but more on the whole of the series.
I think the whole cryptic thing with Sala(the band member of Zhiend) is that... She used to have special ability and she used it to become popular. But then realize the bad effects doing it(her brother got kidnapped) and stopped it. And when she said she "return her vision to God" mean she use the ability too much that she become blind or she become blind when her ability disappear.
I think the deal with Sala is basically a backstory that's purposely left vague and not fully explained. She worded it really cryptically and poetically? (like 'bartering her eyes to God') I guess because she didn't want actually to get into it and explain it all to Yu. That's just my interpretation. But man, this was such a solid, great show. It was hilarious, really cool, neat, dark when it wanted to be, with great storytelling, and so on. And that has to be one of the most clean endings like you said, of an anime I've seen, wrapping everything up in a neat bow, without rushing over anything. It's just so cool.
You know, one thing I wished they did in a lot of anime is show what happens after the main story is over. Sorta like a movie about how the MC goes through the rest of his life. I know I would probably be one of the only people to watch something like that, but it's something I would be really interested in. Especially shows I like a lot with characters I like alot.

This is a sad theory, but maybe, when someone travel trough time, he is just creating a new time line, you know, just like Trunks, and the singer (I forgot her name) got the time-travel hability from an alternative user that came from the future.
Sala as a rockstar, she just says things that sound cool but dont necessarily have to be true. Think aabout it, whats makes a better story, "I used my powers too muchh and went blind" or "i bartered with god and went blind".

I still love this show, and the ending was indeed great, but I really wish they had had a few more episodes to work with. It would have been cool to get more than bits and pieces of his mental degradation and see how taking someone's ability could have consequences (like the healing girl or unwillingness to fix his eye). The only thing I really hate about this episode is the last ability (courage) and that his brother was a perfectly timed ex-machina, but I can easily forgive those when I look at everything else (I too would say this is a solid 9/10). I do wish we knew how Nao's brother met Sala without Yu's intervention though, since she seemed so sure it wouldn't help originally, but I guess that's left up to us to determine. This will always be one of my favs. Can't wait to see how the next Jun Maeda anime original turns out.

At the end though, we see he (the brother) has the singer's autograph and has calmed down again. This bittersweet man
For me it wasn’t a good ending because he lost his memories with tomori and his sister
Imo, its a bit sad but i guess its okay they r still young they can make a new story and hey like Tomori has Said they will make a beatiful memory for them to remember later. And Yu has suffered so much he deserve to be happy and forgetting the past actually not really a bad Way to accomplish it.
..... Soooooo do yall know about the OVA
Just here to comment that gintama is releasing a new movie to commemorate the last arc. Also the Ed's are good in gintama sorry i expect you will see this coment here rather than your gintama video
We just filmed Gintama eds yesterday! They will be going up next friday!
