Vinyl records have been on the rise for the past 10 years. There's a lot of positive stuff going on in the vinyl community :)

Nothing like owning the physical copy of an album you love. Vinyl is so much more than just music. Its a culture. Digital can never replace the thrill of walking into a record shop and hunting for rare release or owning a rare pressing and being able to hold it in your hands. Glad to see vinyl made a huge comeback. Support your local shops and pick up some vinyl! Cheers!

Some people get it and some people don't , it's a lot more enjoyable than hitting next on a stupid phone and it sound's better as well . People complain about the cost but have no problem wasting $30 for a meal at a chain restaurant that's over in 40 minutes . At least my Vinyl LP's appreciate in value by the month . People that listen to and collect Vinyl tend to be bigger fans of music as well , it's that simple really .
Vintage high end film cameras are also being sold at a high rate , why ? Again people are tired of the mundane boring cell phone . It's an activity to actual know how to use a camera and develop film . Smart phones are becoming lame , you have to understand that there's a generation that grew up with cell phones so all these old things are new to them . A smart phone for today's youth is the equivalent of an 70's / 80's kid having a calculator , it's nothing special .

Shhh most people don't know this ... the public needs to keep considering them as junk so we can keep finding them for cheap because that window is closing very quickly .

It's an opportunity of ownership of something, not being dependant on streaming servers and ads if you don't want to pay subscription. You have it, you own it, forever.

Vinyl records never went away in the first place. The only reason i have records is because of the sound.

I used to buy vinyl about 40 years ago. That was before the CD came out. Back then albums cost about $6.00 while CDs cost about $15.00. Things are a whole lot different now. CD held their price or in some cases actually come down, while vinyl prices are through the roof. I for one refuse to pay those sky high prices! I'll stick to playing my CDs.

Yes please!!! Forget everything digital. I grew up buying CDs and cassette tapes and I was so excited every time I will get a new CD to add to my collection. Today is just whack with all-digital everything. Although it's convenient and I do like it, I would trade buying something tangible over something digital. This is where it's at and this is where were businesses continue to make money because people like buying things. I think this hold digital world and all this technology is really taking away from the present moment and enjoying life and the blessings that you have. I don't want all my stuff to be in one little pocket computer(phone)

Hopefully .. the songs that go with it . and not just the physical vinyl records.. music today is terrible.. since when in all of music history has there been no melodies in songs.. only today regrettably.. can't even whistle a tune.. because there is no melody..

Been there, done it. Vinyl is a crackly, antiquated ghost of the past. It’s a novelty toy to the present generation accounting for any sales. If you have to “touch” it, get a CD! 😳 🤣🤣 ( You would probably also like Edison cylinder recordings.)

I see no reason to own a physical copy of anything, technology moves forward .If I did though, it would be a cd . Vinyl ? , what's next yall gonna bring back laserdiscs at 40 bucks a pop because they come in the same size with a big cover 😂? Whatever makes people happy though .

It's also a hobby and a community , it also gets you away from your damn phone for entertainment . They are very collectible and can be very valuable .Most records that I've bought new over the past 4 years have appreciated in value , some have appreciated quite dramatically to be honest .
Vinyl sounds great , old video formats will never make a comeback other than being collectible for the artwork . Video is different .

@@manchesterexplorer8519 The majority purchasing Vinyl and Cassettes are Zoomers/Millenials..It's all for the Aesthetic and FAUXSTALGIA, most Boomers and Gen Xrs are moving with the times. Been there done that, the world is full of wannabes who long for the simpler times..Most Vinyl purchasers weren't even alive in the 70s and early 80s, kids trying to look cool on Instagram and Social Media. Filming their collection of Artists they never grew up with, new ain't cool and trendy anymore. That's the real reason!

Nah… Republicans and Democrats are husband and wife. If they both can make you pay more; they will. One is keeping house while the other is negotiating deals. Together, they are responsible 50/50 for what’s happening in the economic space. They just finger point at one another to distract their constituents.

Vinyl never went away it just hibernated awhile and then emerged when the music industry realized money could be made again. Typical business reaction when the smell of profit is in the air. Record Store Day is another reason the fire was lit again.

I bet you have no problem paying $30 for a meal and a beer at a restaurant that's typically over in about 30-40 minutes with no return other than what goes down the toilet . Vinyl appreciates in value , I have records that I've paid $30 for just a year or two ago that and are worth over $200 .

Her records will be worthless in 10 years like every other pop or country band lol , I can't even give 80's , 90's or 2000's country or pop music away for free because nobody wants it lol . Has about a 2-5 year shelf life . they stopped making decent outlaw country music in the 70's .
