For everything that Richard has achieved since, I think these concerts he gave with his brothers in the 90's show him at his best. I was lucky enough to see a few of them before the trio split and Richard moved to Nashville.. wonderful memories.
Richard is most definitely no 1 picker in the universe. He always appears to be so happy playing the guitar as if it was his greatest dream come true. Never seen him play with his brothers before. What a brilliant family that must have been to grow up in.

Thank you for posting this video of Richard Smith and his two brothers Rob and Sam. I’ve admired Richard’s guitar playing for many years; but this is the first time I’ve ever seen or heard the three brothers together on stage. Having been in a family music group myself for many years, I’m not surprised at all by the fact that their dad taught them a lot of music and how to play as kids growing up in England. As they say, it starts in the home.
What is the name of the song 22:56-25:00? Somebody? Plllsssss help meeee :P .Its a well known piece of music, i heard over 100 times but i dont remember the name. Je tiens a remercier. The opening song is called Copper Kettle.
Oops. I wrote that previous comment while the song was being played, not knowing that Richard would announce the title.
