He had talked about getting an extender and plugging into that, but yeah, didn't fix it. He needs a switch wired into his house to get port access in disparate rooms
@@turpskadey Not surprised it didn't help. Adding an extender is just making it WiFi + extender, wouldn't resolve stability. It would be like having a leaky hose and "fixing" it by adding another 10ft to the line. What Geoff could use is ethernet powerline adapters. Wired connection to wall plug at both ends, connected through his house wiring. Not a perfect solution, a straight ethernet line would always be better, but powerline adapters would be more consistent than wifi.
The timing that they release an "Ultimate Chicken Horse but Racing" video and within a week the Chicken Horse devs announce an official Ultimate Chicken Horse racing game!
Nick please do continue The Last of Us! For us Xbox people we never got to play it so watching you play, and with each episode basically just being a mini podcast was awesome.
Getting philosophical here. If you build an entire civilisation and society around Capitalism and getting as much stuff as you can for the lowest price, don't be surprised when people do their best to figure out ways to get things for free. Including NBA streams. No point complaining, it's literally how people are geared to think.
I'm with Nick. This has been a great year for college football, especially as a Tennessee fan. Tennessee making the playoffs and Bama not is about the best I could have hoped for, and all the upsets have been so much fun. This game looks amazing. Hope they play it way more.
Remember those days in like 2012-ish when there was only like 2 streaming services and while there wasn't everything on there it wasn't such a god-awful mess? Now it's cable but somehow worse. Love how we got here.
I flatout said nah, I'm not even going to try watching the Chiefs. I just hit up The Fan's website and just listen to the broadcast, but then we've got Mitch Holthus and he's a fucking legend so it's worth it to just listen. Not to mention the Chiefs are hard enough to just listen to this year, ffffff
speaking on NBA viewership, the NFL (highest thanksgiving viewership ever) and MLB (highest WS since 2017 granted it was LA and NY, new record for streaming minutes watch, largest in person attendance since 2017 and almost every network say a 10%+ gain in 18-34 demo) are seeing good gains in their viewership numbers even with illegal streams while the NBA isn't so I doubt it is just on the illegal streams.
As a hockey fan I kind of love how they handle the sport for watching it. BUT and a bit one is that I watch a team that is on the other side of the country so ESPN+ doesnt black out the games. If I wanted to watch the teams in NY where I live, too darn bad without a billion dollar cable subscription.
Spurs fan from LA checking in. I watched less NBA when the last two minutes of a close game would drag on due to intentional fouls for free throws. The mid season tournament I'm not sure I'm feeling either. Baseball is hard to watch as a Dodgers fan without cable because of that spectrum deal. NFL is easy to access as a Rams fan to watch. NFL games take forever with the non-stop commercials though.
So Cal has the opposite of blackouts for NFL games. With only 3 games on Sunday (network TV, besides SNF), if it's possible to watch the Rams and Chargers, those games will be on. If you like some other team, too bad. You'd better hope they're on Sunday night, Monday night, or Thursday night so that there's no choice but to let you watch them.
Ugh. I there was one service where I could stream all NHL, NBA, NFL, or even MLB games, I would buy it in a heartbeat. But since it's so insanely hard to juggle that I just give up and don't watch anything.
The majority of the younger "NBA fans" watch the 10 minute cut ups of game instead of watching the actual game. Those cut ups that the NBA puts on their YT channel 10 minutes after the game is over almost never show good defense, so to those people every 3 taken is made, neither team can slow the other, and there is no cohesive narrative to the game or the season. When I've asked people about it the most common answer is "who has the time to watch a full game?" ... but when I ask about social media screen time, well they have time for that. Sports, outside of betting, is becoming more of a niche thing to follow.
That’s what i was thinking when they were talking about it. “It sounds so…niche. “ which was weird as a non sports fan cuz everyone loves sports right. But when you describe the new gen culture like that it makes sense even as an anecdotal thing. Like fans who are fans of the GAME are becoming rarer
@@daemon4621 Another factor is that the NBA's popularity was based on true superstars. Stars of the game who were magnetic and charismatic that would have broad appeal beyond the game. Players who were generally known even away from the game. Right now there are 2 playing and both are past their primes in LeBron and Steph. There really isn't a next generation to step up.
While I agree that broadcast nonsense is contributing to the lack of NBA viewership, the actual product is also just not as entertaining as it was even 5 years ago. It isn't fun watching PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES play the same brand of basketball as a bunch of schlebs at LA Fitness. There's no real strategy anymore. Every fucking offense is now "shoot 50 3s a game". And it just isn't fun to watch. 🤷♂
Geoff will never switch to Ethernet and fix all of his wireless issues
You could say it's a real F*ckface move...
He had talked about getting an extender and plugging into that, but yeah, didn't fix it. He needs a switch wired into his house to get port access in disparate rooms
@@turpskadey I thought I had a problem like that, and then I just bought a 300 foot ethernet cable. It was like $40.
He wouldn’t be Geoff if he did
@@turpskadey Not surprised it didn't help. Adding an extender is just making it WiFi + extender, wouldn't resolve stability. It would be like having a leaky hose and "fixing" it by adding another 10ft to the line.

I never thought that as an adult I'd be looking forward to these "Lets Plays" as much as I did when I was a young wee lad. I love you guys.
It's 2013 all over again lads/lasses
"I didn't learn shit, if my dad can't teach me then neither can you." Eric rules.
Love that they never turned on the shortcuts allowed option yet still went for it. Dedication
It's so good hearing them all enjoying a game so much but Eric especially was clearly having a blast here, great content!
The timing that they release an "Ultimate Chicken Horse but Racing" video and within a week the Chicken Horse devs announce an official Ultimate Chicken Horse racing game!
A Full Spectrum Warrior is clocking in early with a regulation comment
Semper Fi soldier, God bless 🫡
Reporting for duty. Still waiting on orders from andrew
I was a FSW until Andrew sent my squad to stand in the middle of a plaza
@@darrenkirsch4870 lost a lot of good men that day
Briefly this turned into a Sportsball episode, just needed Jack. But when Geoff started talking about sports, he started winning.
I love when Geoff wins!
im glad you guys have been doing more i thought you tried but glad youre back on track been following since 2004!
Nick please do continue The Last of Us! For us Xbox people we never got to play it so watching you play, and with each episode basically just being a mini podcast was awesome.
I forgot I watched this live and thought I was having an existential crisis hearing conversations I already heard

as a kentucky fan, i disagree. got our shit kicked in so far it’s coming out the mouth
This is beautiful. I must see Gavin play this.
Doesn't matter what you stream, Geoff. We'll be there to watch!
This is such a pleasure to watch! That ending felt like a movie, it was anyone’s race to win!
Nothing like a good regulation vod before bed.
Watching Geoff win is always a real treat!
Omg I'm so glad you discovered this game I've been having a blast with it
Thank you boys! Love ya’ll and appreciate you so much
Keep doing these, this was great
This seems like such a genius idea for this type of game - I love it.
This is great. Would love to see more of this with a full four of you
You guys are great. Regulation chaos
Regulation full spectrum warrior signing on
Calling himself “Daddy” in the third person sucks so much it’s easily Eric’s worst trait it’s so good

It's Wrecked: Revenge Revisited, but mixed with Ultimate Chicken Horse. This is the best thing ever.

11:03 Eric, you are 100 percent correct, end baseball’s anti-trust exemption!
Excite bike? lol its more like micro machines meets chicken horse
I was thinking Rock n Roll Racing, personally. Can definitely see your choice too though
Yeah, they finally got to Make Way. I asked for that when this group did their first Ultimate Chicken Horse.
Where are the Full Spectrum Warriors at?!

I both love and despise when Eric calls himself daddy
I believe currently Eric is the "Regulation Racer" & Nick is the "Regulation Pilot " what does that make everyone else?
I love this game!!!
This seems like another game they can do a long series with

Such a fun game! Good find.
Love this game. Hope they play again with Andrew and Gavin.
This video was definitely for the rats. Luckily for me I'm rats
speaking of superbowl.... I hope Geoff and Gav play Madden so I know who to support
Dude, this is Ultimate Chicken Horse and the old Ps1/2 Micromachines game.

They should have turned on the "allow shortcuts" option on the main menu.

Turn on shortcuts and if you fall on the track it let's take the lead.
they should play Mashed, that would be chaos
It makes me sad that this video is underperforming. This game is fucking awesome.
