Thank you guys! I always wondered how these amazing photographs are created. These tricks are really helped me to illustrate my work on instagram better.
Sebastian is such a talent and an amazing addition you have to the crew! Having someone who knows what they’re doing to Exhibit the artists in the best way possible is priceless! Keep up the great work guys-just found you today and you most certainly have a new subscriber 💥🤟🏻
Nice video guy! Was curious about the Photoshop part, to see what your view on this is, as I see a lot of strong edited photos of tattoos. One thing though, regarding the saturation, I would give modifying that up too, as the redness will show up grey/grayish in the final image and look like shadows that aren't really there. Cheers
WOW! I am amazed of (all of your) this content! I found you today and I am already a really big fan! Thanks for sharing your talents, love and knowledge!
I think a video about composition for the tattoo pictures will be great! Many artists don't take advantage of the photography composition rules and they end up getting a really blah picture or even worse, make the tattoo look unflattering on the client.
Thanks for your video, vert useful. I dont understand where we have to put the light with the foil, because I read the CPL need a light at 90 degres from the subject to work. On your video it’s in front of the subject. Have some precisions about this? (And if any type of polarized foil works in this case?). Thanks!!
You can use your eyes to position the light. Just make sure the tattoo is well lit and make sure no light of the softbox gets on the tattoo. Then you adjust the filter on the camera to match the foil.
Hi I am Dave from Italy, first a huge thanks for all the effort you put in to share so much value with all of us 🙏 i would like to buy some lamps and i have one question about the polarising. does it work if i use a cpl lense combined with softboxes as lightsources? or is it working only with cpl lense combined with lamps where i put a a polarising film infront of the lamp? thanks already
The cpl filter only works in combination with the foil in front of the light. That`s why you have to make sure no light from the softbox gets on the tattoo. You first light the background and only when there is no light from the softbox on the tattoo, you turn on the LED-pannel.
That depend on you camera. You can find a lot of reviews of lenses on youtube. Normally a 24-70mm with f4 is a good lense or 50mm f1.8. The price of the lense should be between 500-1200,- €
You guys are awesome, thank you for great info*-* I wonder what kind of LED light you use as a main light source for shooting bc I could only find some small leds to adjust on camera/ and can I use polarizing foil on ring light?
Thank you so much man ❤️ we do not recommend to use the foil on a ring light since you‘ll need to put to different foils together to cover the whole light. The foils will never perfectly align and the effect won‘t work. ✌🏼
I had working as a tattoo artist 8 years and always have trouble to make a photo , this is the most educational video I watched in years !!
Finally finally someone is letting the truth out. Thank you guys. I definitely felt that my pictures don't do justice to my work.
This is by faaar the most informative video about taking pics of tattoos I've seen. Amazing work!! Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.

Omg I have the camera lense without the polarized foil on the lights. 🤯 thanks for sharing! *Subscribed
No, you need the foil in order for the cpl filter to work.

Hello guys, can someone tell me if I shoot with natural light, will the CPL filter work ?? Or you need led light + foil for that too work
With filter cpl lens to cover the light can I use a piece of tracing paper or the paper you put over the light is called what? Buy it in sheets?

@@haisents thanks for your answer.
What exact led panel do you use please?
I’ve tried so many now that end up giving a weird orange/blue hue.
Awesome tips for the instagram size for photos , any setting or size for videos -posting too ?
