I said from the moment I made them out of the most pure and hardcore copium I could find because I thought Deft was going to retire if he didn't win and I wanted him to do it. Nah Dom’s assessment of Ludwig is pretty off. If you’ve only watched Mogul Mail I can see how you can think he’s milk toast or a fence sitter, but he’s not a clout chaser and he’s pretty transparent about things. I think the best analogue to league is that Dom is like Tectone while Caedrel (during stuff like Reddit recaps) is like Ludwig, you can tell that Caedrel puts some time into thinking about his brand and not pissing everybody off but he’ll still be pretty open to honest discussion and elevating the things/people the cares about.
Ludwig also actively responds and takes back what he says when he is wrong and you dont get that from many streamers out there. Especially with how Mogul Mail has such a huge audience. On the other side, the someone who says what they feel all the time also refuses to listen to anything that remotely disagrees with his own takes
Dom obviously doesn't really go deep into that side of the streaming sphere. He even admitted that he's scratching the surface level of Asmongold and doesn't care about his politics. Let's not take that part seriously since this was an impromptu discussion.
To add on to the content creator sphere part, Asmon isnt any different to the others mentioned. He just speaks for his right-wing audience and even cherry-picks sources to back up his claims. Check out his recent tweets and subreddit for example

@@DjhiseMise I did phrase that a bit wrong, i agree. Asmon is right wing and as such has similar views with his mostly right-wing audience and believes in them too. Alot of what he says is what he believes and his audience agrees with him. What im not wrong about tho is the fact his points are backed up by either cherry picked moments that fail to even give off the entire-picture or ones that are just plainly falsified. he's also too obstinante with what he's set his mind to support. Anyone that tries to give context, without inserting their own biases, tend to get severely downvoted while him and his mods play authority claiming whatever anyone else says is blatantly wrong. Im not going to delve into the whole discussion but needed to clear up the mistake in how i phrased what i did
Is he even that political? I rarely see him talk about political shit (until recently) and I haven’t gotten the impression that his viewer base are generally interested in politics
@@Ellefsen97 Ive followed him on and off regarding gaming news and twitter where Ive agreed with >90% of the takes he's had. Could also be because I dont watch him enough to know if he often talks politics and have only watched him for Gameplay (Elden ring, Souls-like etc) and for some of the twitter wars he's been in for talking about deterioration in modern games and localisations in media. Only recently seen his take about student protests and visting his subreddit and having an opinion or take that diverges even a degree off has you mass downvoted in there. just made me confirm what I said in my take (which is a bit unclear and had to clarify again).

Doesn't make sense with his style, Monte reviews and analyzes, Dom is giving a reactive analysis and plays off the energy of the game, wouldn't be the same content at all

The way he handled the “streaming is a soul sucking job” situation changed my mind on Ludwig. He didn’t even say anything negative towards Hasan, but Hasan cried about it on stream so he took the video down, said it was because it performed badly and then talked shit about Destiny randomly. At least be honest about why you took down the video
