It kinda makes the single humbucker sound more bulky because now the magnetic pull from the other one is reduced. Its not a major difference but is usually preferred by some people who dont really switch pickups. I personally do notice a difference in th sound, kinda increases the attack.

Esp pickups are generally high output and crispy but it’s subjective. But in my opinion if i had to choose between the vault rg and esp then i would go with the Esp, Yamaha Pacifica has SSH config If your a beginner then all of them are great, but for future professional use ESP and Yamaha have often seen as used for gigs and stuff My suggestion is check them out in the store or if its not possible then check UA-cam sound demos, they usually help in giving an idea. I would suggest vault over the fender MM, if you are going for a fender its better to go for a fender bullet strat, the MM series I didn’t like much, so the SSH Vault i use is definitely better, Durability: any guitar’s durability is subject to handling and care, my gibson and epiphone guitars also need servicing and are fragile and need care Comprising on Distortion: Clean sound is the source and basis, so if u are getting an amazing clean tone then most likely to get honky distortion out of it too, In the end, i would suggest Vault STL1 and if at all you want fender then go for Fender Bullet strat
Same is with my vault guitars, just open the jack section and bend the connector, it would solve, also u can get jack replaced, this happens with usage
Would need regular maintainence, my input jack got loose just in 6 months, its a good guitar with frequent maintenance, but if u want something robust then i would suggest something from fender, ibanez, cort, epiphone

Yes go for fender squier MM because it's durable and it's quality is also good. But only if you ignore diatortion Or Wait for some time and buy yamaha pacifica if you have budget Or take fender mm Or vault for distortion

I don't think the tone range is a big issue at all, you can just replace the capasitor connected to the tone potentiometer and get your desired range.
For any guitar fret stem or board is important it should be smooth even if we tuned to E scale please notice it must not have bends
