Minus sign with t value is linked with coefficinet. Because t distribution has two side minus and plus side. If coefficient falls minus side the t value would be with minus sign such -7 and if coefficinet falls on possitive side and the t value would be positive such 7. The threshhold value for t value is 2 if obtained value is greater than 2 it means its significant no matter its -7 or +7.
