i guess her point was that if she truly climbed the mountain, why wasn't she sweaty? and also, it's not usual to wear such an extravagant perfume just to exercise so she probably didn't climb the mountain in the first place or that wasn't her intention? at least that's what i understood
It is weird that someone planning to go hiking up a mountain would use such an expensive perfume before doing it. Knowing how costly the perfume is, a normal person would simply not apply it knowing that it'd be a waste because they would be sweating. That coupled with the fact that there was no sweat detected means that the victim never had planned a hiking trip, and was instead killed by the girl before being dumped in the mountains.

In deductions like this, Emilie is assuming that the victim was of ordinary thinking. The argument of "Well someone MIGHT put perfume on before a trip!" is null, because it assumes that the victim is somewhat careless in their actions. If this WAS a premeditated trip like the murderer said, then shouldn't the victim have had ample time to think twice about putting on perfume? While the possibility that the fact that she had fragrance on her might've just been an oversight, the safest assumption would still be that no oversight was made at all. Assuming the opposite (that a person wouldn't do in a situation what any other ordinary person would have) would actually overcomplicate a case. The fragrance alone doesn't prove much (it's only a minor inconsistency with the suspect's testimony), which is why she also mentions the lack of sweat.
With that ending, no wonder she's friends with Chev and Chiori 🤣 It does feel weird seeing the teaser after the demo. Are they trying a new style like they're gonna do with Natlan? I told myself to pick her mats every week yet forgot everytime..well it isn't too late to do it now!
Maybe they felt like they needed the demo out because of her being able to appear in the game already, but chose to release the teaser later because it's the better bridge going into her story quest? That's my guess at least.
It does sound weird if you think about it on the surface level, tbh I thought it sounded a bit weird too, but the more you think the more it makes sense. What sounds more plausible, that most people wouldn’t put on a heavy smelling fragrance before going to do strenuous activity or she just decided to waste her money and time by putting on something she knew she’d sweat out? Gets you thinking and that’s what makes it so good in my opinion.
I really thought the Legally Blonde-esque reason of her explanation was so entertaining even if it doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Like she said the perfume this lady wore was expensive so she must've wanted to keep up some sort of appearance, the sweat portion of her explanation makes more sense LMAO, love her though

Given this teaser, the dynamic between Emilie, Chiori und Chevreuse will probably be comedy gold 😂
I love Cinderella sleeping in the background!! ❤ 🐈⬛❤

I wonder if she would explain the deduction later, because that's really confuse me 😂
