Wow thank you so much for sharing this. I never knew how bad Andrew was since I was born on 1992. It must have been so powerful to see how the community and country got together to serve one another
My mom and dad and friend spent three days at the Homestead police station which was destroyed feeding them sandwiches and water trying to help after we were spared in WPB. I spent four days in a condemned building, taking care of national guardsmen and local people who just walked in as I was a new nurse at the time. But I will always remember those stories about the bad people somewhere true but mostly down healthy, came together and help another.❤
