You may have seen a trailer or review, but this playthrough will feature my impressions, reactions, and commentary throughout the full game including the ending! OPEN WORLD POKEMON ADVENTURE
The newest chapters in the Pokémon series are coming to the Nintendo Switch system later this year. Catch, battle, and train Pokémon in the Paldea Region, a vast land filled with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, small towns, and sprawling cities. There is no set path, so you can adventure freely through three grand stories. In one such story, you can challenge Pokémon Gyms in any order you desire as you aim for the Champion Rank! Explore a wide-open world at your own pace and traverse land, water, and air by riding on the form-shifting Legendary Pokémon Koraidon. Choose either Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly, to be your first partner Pokémon before setting off on your journey through Paldea. Pokémon in the Paldea region have the ability to Terastallize to gain special power. When a Pokémon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel appears above its head like a crown, and the Pokémon’s body glistens like a cut gemstone. Each Pokémon has a Tera Type that remains inactive until the Pokémon Terastallizes. For example, most Eevee will have a Normal Tera Type, but some other Eevee have a Flying Tera Type! When a Terastallized Pokémon uses a move that matches its Tera Type and at least one of its original types, the boost to that move’s power will be even greater! Terastallizing holds the key to victory or defeat in battles in the Paldea region. The Paldea Region is home to a prestigious school where people from all sorts of regions come to hone their skills against each other, be it through academics or Pokémon battles. The name of the school, its emblem, its uniforms, and other details will differ depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. Take classes with unique teachers who will show you what they know about battling, Pokémon biology, and more. Embark on an independent study called the Treasure Hunt to gain new experiences, meet new people, and find your very own treasure.

Geeta is probably (in my opinion) One of the worst Champions, usually the champion has a good team that can sometimes sweep teams if strong enough, usually the use a very powerful Ace that they used for the entire game, But here. G O A T, A V A L U G G, E S P A T H R A. that’s a champion team?
Hey man if that espanthra had speed boost as an ability it would absolutely be a threat
In Paldea, Champion is a rank, like "Grandmaster" in chess. So, I see her as the bar, the minimum someone needs to conquer in order to be called that. Her team is actually decent, just horribly mismanaged.
Y’all both bring a good point, I just still think she is sitting in a weird spot when it comes to champions
Espathra is a genuine threat with that Opportunist ability and Lumina Crash. I agree with Gogoat, Avalugg, and Veluza. Glimmora feels a bit weak for an ace as well, it could've used an evolution.

You can use the Tera orb on every elite four and the Geeta.
Also, kingambit is a new evolution of bisharp
When I battled the Elite Four and Geeta, I was only able to use the Tera Orb only once and my Tetralyzed Pokémon got knocked out. But I was still ab,able, to defeat the Elite Four and Geeta.
I wish you wouldn’t look up the Pokémon types every time 😭
It just makes the game so easy for you, and it also just leaves me sitting there while you try and figure it out

Ironically I just finished the Pokémon League today too. All three paths are done for both games. Might get some training done a little bit before going into Area Zero.

YESSS i get to see the video i wanted for so long and its really good to see him recovering from covid
I was surprised how easy it was to beat them all. some of the gyms had more of a challenge. I primarily used grand Tusk, Luxray, Pyroar and Zoroark (mystery gift). I only had to revive one pokemon the entire time. I had bought a whole bunch of engery root and revive herbs and ya.

Just so you know, you could have terastilize for every battle against the elite four.

After watching so many people fight the elite four and Geeta, I am just realizing now that Geeta is kinda a terrible champion. I noticed that her Glimmora sets up toxic spikes. (keep in mind that Glimmora is Geetas final pokemon) I'm not the smartest when it comes to pokemon but if a pokemon has toxic spikes or stealth rock, wouldn't you wanna set that up first? Like at the start of a battle?
Geeta is a really weak Champion, her team is mostly mono-type there was another video on how to improve her team and it would have made her a real threat.

You will be facing all 8 gym leaders again after the final battle
No, not at all. The Academy Tournament is a four battle gauntlet and the order is pretty much set, so you'd have do it multiple times to get the gym leaders and a different order of trainers. It's Arven, Jacq, battle studies teacher (the one who did the Psychic gym test), and then Geeta.

@@coolguyxa113 It's a possibility if you play through the Academy Tournament a few times, you get those four first, then random order afterwards. I just went through it once in each version. Then I bought Sword and Shield and I am in the post game stuff for Sword. I haven't started Shield yet.
@@coolguyxa113 Actually, I was wrong. You were right, the Academy Tournament is two parts, the Gym Leader Evaluations is where you face them again and then the tournament starts after that.

A lot of people watch UA-cam on their TV which means they can only press like and not comment unless they use their phone/laptop to find the video and then comment. I also think a lot of people just don't comment for some reason. I try my best to press like & comment to help out the creator of the videos because it helps them a lot.
