I just wanted to share that I work with exchange students, many of whom are here on a scholarship, and we made these ornaments to decorate a tree (that someone donated for our project) for a government-funded apartment complex for the elderly, and each of the students gave a presentation on their country and talked to the residents. Anyway, the girls (they were all girls) absolutely loved making these ornaments, and these ornaments were inexpensive enough that I could afford to buy the supplies. Thank you for sharing and please know that sharing tutorials like this can have such a wonderful, far-reaching effect, more so than we often realize!
The fact that they are not exactly the same only makes them all the more real to me. Snowflakes are not perfectly shaped. So to me it makes it more realistic. Thank you soooooo much for all the wonderful videos. Thank you for the nice gentle voice too.
This is the best handmade snowflake that I have seen so far. I remember in the first grade my class used the pipe cleaner in Christmas colors, and alternated triangle beads and a strip of white lace and made them into hanging wreaths to give to our parent- I picked my mom- to hang on the tree. I was the happiest six year old ever to make something so pretty and functional! I hope some other teacher sees this project!
My grandmother used to make these years ago and hang them on our trees I had forgot about them until you introduce them again today I thank you for this and I shall be making me some you are such an inspiration thank you and I love your work and your instructions are very helpful again I thank you
We love this and this is something that We can do as a Family ~~~~~~ That has to be 1 of the best things about it................. I LOVE TE WAY THAT THEY LOOK !
I made snowflakes like this YEARS AGO, and gave them away as gifts! One of my sisters still puts it up on her tree EVERY SINGLE CHRISTMAS!!!! I didn't use another colored bead on mine, but seeing yours, I wish I would have!!!!
Isabella A Rossellini Thank you so much for your post, Isabella! It does my heart good to know others are getting some use out of my videos. Even the old ones! LOL! :o)
I always learn from you. Not only the basic instructions, but the finishing touches that make all the difference. You are the queen of bling and I am your willing student.
How pretty! I will have to but some beads and make some of these they are just beautiful. I'm so into crochet i forget there are other nice crafts to make.
This is sooooo pretty! My granddaughter (age 9) decided she wanted a white flocked Christmas Tree in her bedroom last year. I will have to make some of these for her, and also put together a kit for her to make some for herself and her friends. Love it. TFS!!
These are just so pretty I have got most of the items needed, just waiting for the tinsel pipe cleaners, and I will be having a go at making some,Thank you for showing everything nice and slow,so us newbies can keep up.Really enjoying your tutorials Thanks for sharing .

***** Oh I'm so glad you had so much fun making these! I loved experimenting with different colors. One year I made "retro" snowflakes by using aqua and pink colored round beads. Enjoy Hun! :o)
My Aunt Lucille made these way back when 😅 don't want to tell my age. I'm making these in her memory for my family plus some for friends! Thanks soo much for this tutorial

I made these also turned out beautiful. I honestly gave mine away. I got to make some for my tree this year since I gave them away last Christmas. Thank You
Made these with my students and it was great! The tinsel stems were perfect with the children. No running after rolling beads. They did well following the pattern and were so proud of themselves. Thank you again for sharing your talent. Happy New Year!
Very pretty! I sure wish I had your bead collection. I do so many different crafts, that I have just a little of each, but most is paper crafting. Your beautiful creations are swaying me in the bead direction.
Hi There:Instead of snipping all the tinsel stems at the end, I might loop one of them to connect the hanging cord. I love the ornament & can't believe how simple it is.Thanks
Thank you for answering me! I found some at A C Moore craft store but it's stretches but works good. I've been an ornament making nut cause of you . Thanks and keep up the videos!
Another beautiful ornament which I hope to make for my tree this year. One of the easiest snowflakes I have seen.I have made one and only one with wire and tiny beads and it took me hours to make it....never again! I much prefer your way of doing them Lol . I love them. Like the sparkley channel stens, although I think I'd make the bobble a bit smaller. It is a little bigger than I would like.
