Wow! I guessed 3.5 days at the start of the video and you went 5. Awesome! Oh and we do laundry pretty regularly…. Plus, after we shower, we throw the towels in the dryer for a bit to dry them off versus only having them hang dry.
Wow‼️ Great job; that solar system is awesome! If you guys didn't have to do laundry, you could have probably stayed off the pole for a month. THE BEST SOLAR VIDEO I'VE SEEN YET 👊
I really enjoyed this video. We are planning in about a year and a half when my wife can retire to hit the road. We want to have a solar system that allows us very few limitations, kind of like what you have. The being able to do wash and dry while boondocking is an awesome thing. I'm interested in seeing a water challenge. I'm kind of developing a plan how to handle dumping and adding water to the tank while boondocking, but I would love to see a water challenge similar to this without a lot of limitations. One question, related to water, how much does that washer use in a cycle?
Ryan, your timing on this video could not come at a better time. I start next week to have installed 3 300 amp/hr Big Beard batteries, 2 Victron Multi-plus 3000 inverters, and 2050 watts of solar panels on the roof. Great video!
@ Will do. I’ll send pics after the install is done. Will be staying for 3 days after install to test just like your video did. Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks !
Ryan, great experiment and I’m fascinated at how long you went on solar. I have talked to Todd and working on a smaller system right now just doing weekends so don’t need the full Monty yet. I agree Big Beard Batteries are the best not Chinese crap. Question is are you leaving the system on the Rv?

Thanks y’all!! Yea, dang laundry!
Great way to experiment in a "safe" environment! Sounds like you guys are pretty set. -😊 Michelle
Yes we are!! Hope y’all are doing great!
That's a fine solar system!! Take care!
Thanks, You Too!!

We are defiantly going to do a water one! The washer on a “normal” setting uses about 16 gallons. But we have a residential version.
Good video!
Thanks!

Great Minds think alike!!! Have fun doing the install, let us know how it goes!

You must be the cleanest couple in the world! Wash & dry every day?? I would guess you could go 7-8 days if you did laundry every other day.
Haha, I wish that were the case, more like that’s all the laundry you can fit in a RV washer!
