Thank you so much for sharing, Patch! I've always been interested in the missing 18 years of Jesus' life, but I could never find theories I was happy with. I've long believed that all religions of the world operate on some fraction of truth, and the idea of Jesus combining philosophies around the world to teach a refined, restored version of the whole truth is incredible.
Although this does raise an interesting question. Many churches teach that Jesus was half God in His mortal life. Did His godly abilities include omniscience (as implied in scriptures like the Lazarus story, where He specifically waited to come until those who lived the law of Moses believed Lazarus could no longer be brought back)? If so, why did He need to learn in His early life the way mortal humans do?

All i know about this topic is that Robert Edward Grant keeps telling the story (on his yt channel) that when he and another genius Mathematician were invited by the Dalai Lama to explain how the universe is mathematical the Dalai Lama told them that he saw the ancient scrolls in the library of Tibets monastery, the scrolls that document Jesus' visit to Tibet.

You are right, yet, the concept of the Kabbalah (which means "to receive") doesn't appear out of nowhere in Spain during the twelve century.
There was slready Jewish mysticism during the time of Jesus, and even before, this was called "oral Torah", and was only available to some students.
The Merkabah visions, the idea of emanations of God, Male and Female attributes of God, and so forth, already existed by the first century, and even the Apostle Paul mentions one of these supposed visions, in 2Corinthians 12:1-4. Also, the book of Enoch, found in the Qumran caves (a possible Essene community area), and also available in the Ethiopian Bible, shows clear similarities with Merkabah visons seen in the later Kabbalah tradition.
The concept of the Kabbalah doesn't come from the Jews originally, it has its beggining in Egypt. In the Corpus Hermeticum (Hellenistic Egyptian compilation of Hermetic books; the compilation is only one or two centuries older than Christ, but traditions are quite ancient) in the book of Poimandres, you can see the first steps on the Adam Kadmon concept. Also you can find similar concepts in certain hindu texts, such as the Upanishads, and among many Gnostic groups.
Egyptian Persian, and Greek Mystery schools influenced Judaism, and as time went on the Kabbalah was developed, as you said, yet, just because something was not called what is called today, doesn't mean it was completely non-existent. It evolved and it became more adapted to the Jewish mentality.
For example, one of the emanations in the Kabbalah, the Cohkmah (Wisdom) is seen as a male attribute, while the Gnostics saw it as Sophia, female.

I don’t know about that interpretation of the magi, they would’ve had to come from the west of Bethlehem or Jerusalem. It would be more likely that they came out out of Egypt. That would also explain why Joseph and Mary took the baby Jesus to Egypt after they went.

Mentioned in a Peter Kingsley book 'In the Dark places of wisdom' I think it was, I read some could travel on arrows. Gives witches portrayed to travel on brooms an origin so I did find that quite interesting. Levitation must be a skill we posses as few can still do it. In a Abraham Hicks channeling podcast she said 'if you can think it, it exists in reality'. That's been great advice in keeping my mind open to everything and in return being able to connect to higher dimensions/beings and God and combining our energies for magic and to be of service to them.
