- What's up everyone, for the first video of 2024, I figured we would start it out with a rig buildout of our Komodo X. This is our go too commercial build we have been running for a while now, so it's safe to say this will be our rig moving forwards. All items used are listed below.

I thought I was going to witness my first SDI blowout? Thank God you didn't turn it on? LOL! Thanks for sharing your buildout, I'm literally stuck daydreaming about the day when I make my KX purchase, and it's vids like this that keep me going! Thanks again!
Haha nope, figured I would just show it with all the cables plugged in. Wish you the best with getting one of these cameras !

how would it fry? he put the sdi cable in last. just curious, i don't have hands on experience with this stuff myself
@@uriitarded yes but he hadn’t yet turned on the camera. The camera has to be powered up first that way ground is established then you plug in the cable..
@@cogmission1 ah ok.. I was under the impression that the ground was established even when the camera was turned off

enjoy it! We personally are pretty good off the 147 core batteries, las about 3-4 hours each with all aks attached to camera @@BOOSETO

It's amazing how far gear has come in the last 15 years.
I put an RS3 Pro on a Steadicam, and it's basically an ARRi trinity system with a 10 pound payload.
You had me until you put that magic arm lol nahhhh looking awesome tho. 😊
haha, most versatile monitor mount on set! For a more run and gun rig I normally use a totally different rig without that arm.
