Stay away from Japan. Radioactive contamination problem is still ongoing problem in Japan. Almost 18,000 Japanese people died with cancer or leukemia caused by radioactive contamination from Fukushima. Stop eating radioactive contaminated food and water. Otherwise, you're going to get cancer, leukemia or infertility. Japan WAS good country but it's severely contaminated by radiation since Fukushima earthquake happened in 2011. Additionally Japanese government is trying to hide the truth about radioactive contamination. However, People have the right to know the truth and what's going on really in Japan. Please don't risk your valuable life to go Japan. Your life is only once.

Is #Fukushima safe enough to hold 2020 #Olympic in Japan?
It's been only 8 years since the explosion of #Fukushima nuclear power plant.
I've been heard the increase number of cancer patients in Japan after the accident, and lots of rich Japanese left their land silently after accidents. Some professionals figure out Fukushima disaster was worse than that of Chernobyl.
Still Chernobyl, which occurred on 1986, is considered the death of land and no one want to live there because the high radiation is being detected.
Who made this Olympic possible and why? I understand the world is operating by rule of power not justice but this is ridiculous.
Korean government forbids any of imports from #Fukushima and Japan filed the lawsuit to WTO against this decision, but they lost.
The recent conflict between Korea and Japan may also be triggered by this Korean government winning against Fukushima food, but the reaction of Abe's admin is obviously ridiculous.
Who does want to consume those radiation exposed food?
The people coming to Fukushima Olympic will be forced to consume the food from Fukushima, which even local Japanese people don't want to eat.
The effect of exposure of radiation is occured after many years after consuming as the type of cancer.
We should reconsider Fukushima Olympic very seriously.

    • @danadurnfordkevinblanchdebunk
      @danadurnfordkevinblanchdebunk 5 років тому +3

That's why the serious gamma radiation is inside the containment vessels. Although it does penetrate concrete/steel/lead, the greater mass reduces it to the point that you can stand on the other side of that containment vessel and not receive a high enough dose to harm you. If it turns out, I had no exposure to radiation then that's great. However, If I was exposed to high levels of radiation, wouldn't that put the people back home at risk when I come back? Also, If I were to develop some sort of disease from radiation, can I sue the Olympic committee and Japan? and maybe even my own government for not declaring travel-safe country? And if I can sue, If I were to die before the court settlement, can my relatives be benefited from this?

An essential requirement for the release of radioactive contaminated water is the removal of nuclides. Tokyo Electric Power has insisted on eliminating more than 60 nuclides in contaminated water with the Multinuclide Removal Facility (ALPS).But it turned out that Tokyo Electric Power's claim was false. At a public hearing held in August last year, Tokyo Electric Power acknowledged that it failed to remove key radionuclides such as tritium, cesium 137, strontium 90, and iodine 131.Tokyo Electric Power also said, "A self-analysis of 890,000 tons of contaminated water has resulted in 750,000 tons, 84% of which exceeded the standard value, of which strontium 90 was found to exceed 20,000 times the standard value."Nevertheless, the Japanese Nuclear Regulatory Commissioner reaffirmed that the Japanese government's firm position on the ocean discharge, which is a quick and inexpensive method of treating polluted water, was a firm position.

Well, 60' and 70', in that time we all didn't know about radioactive does problems. The abandoned drum is rusted, leaking radioactive material, and has high levels of radioactivity in the surrounding marine life. We all were ignorant that time.
In 1986, we had Chernobyl accidents and we had chance to learn. Near Chernobyl, the area is still non-residential.
This era, we know how Fukushima accidents happened and we know the impacts of it.
This problem is NOT only Japanese problem. On this issue, we should not let the Japanese government randomly discharge contaminated water into the sea. This issue should be discussed with the international community. It is a problem that the whole world must consider together.
I am sure you also don't want your kids would have health issue by this problem. Also, you don't want to see your Olympic players being suffered after 2020 Olympic games.

      @@danadurnfordkevinblanchdebunk Greenpeace's main findings are:
In the Itate area, where decontamination was completed, four out of six households measured radiation levels on average three times higher than the Japanese government's long-term goals. At some points, even higher levels of radiation were measured than in 2015, presumably as a result of recontamination.
In one of the houses in the Namie evacuation area, radiation was measured that could reach up to 7 milliberts, which is well above the annual annual exposure limit of 1 millibert, even though the area was a pilot site for decontamination in the past. This shows that the effectiveness of decontamination works is negligible.
10 milliliters of radiation was measured annually in a forest near a school in Namie where evacuation instructions were released, indicating that decontamination did not significantly reduce student exposure. Young children are particularly vulnerable to radiation exposure.
At one point in Namie's evacuation zone, radiation was measured that could be exposed to up to 101 milliverts per year. Assuming that one year is spent at that point, it is about 100 times the normal public limit. This first poses a serious danger for decontamination workers who will spend a lot of time in the area.
