What a nice road. This is a great example how a fun driving experience can be relatively safe and respectful with other drivers and riders! Lovelly to watch and listen!! That is a very, very nice car!!
I like the oldschool way you make videos...don't worry about your video description, kids and everyone on smartphones are not gonna read that but luckily there's still people like us. I would say your 320 (is) is about ready for a Balkan trip, lol. I passed HN so many times in my life, a pity I never knew about your channel. Is this filmed with the yi4k+ as well ? I've been meaning to buy the same one for years...
Thanks! I was in Slovenia and Croatia already, although not with the IS. I will be going there again for sure. My channel is pretty new, I have started it only last year. Yes, this is also filmed with yi4k+. A year ago I could recommend this action cam, but since then its price went up about 50€ (!) and I would not recommend it over GoPro Hero8. In the meantime, Yi mobile app was also removed from google store, but this app never worked as intended. I could connect to the camera only first time after install. Afterwards I could not ever connect, I tried every solution and option. The only way it works is app uninstall and reinstall. From my point of view, app is pretty important because I need to check framing after mounting. Very often this cannot be done via its own screen (due to sun or due to obstructed mounting position - chest mount), so an additional view via smartphone is really nice. Second big problem I have is: every 30seconds (more or less) there is image stuttering, which can also be seen in my videos. This happens on each resolution I have tried (HD, 4k, 30/60fps) and it bothers the hell out of me. Tried reflashing the firmware, did not solve the problem. So I am actually thinking of buying the GoPro and using this as a second cam.
@@lukathegarlic thx a lot for all the info ! I saw what you mean in the videos. Also I would never want to buy it new. In the meantime I got me a YI dashcam 1080p 60fps which I believe has an even wider angle, also compressing everything into the center, very unnatural....Haven't tried it in a car yet, bought it very cheap. There are anti-distortion lenses (Pixaero) for both action and dashcams but 90eur + is a bit much. Anyways, great car (although I'm more into VFLs but I've had 2 NFLs myself, nothing stronger than a stock M20B25 though).
@@losangelosYou are welcome! Buying new vs. used: at least where I live, it isn't much cheaper to buy new rather than used, because usually people sell cameras with used batteries, which have drastically lower capacity than when new. Since batteries are pretty darn expensive (or cheap but also lower capacity and overheat easily), for me it is a better option to buy a new one. As of today I would go for a gopro8. It is not that much more expensive than Yi4k+ but it makes noticably better videos. Yi4k+ has an option to compensate for wide angle and the image looks much more natural while still giving wide field of view. And I am not even using the "wide" recording options exactly because it doesn't look natural. :)
@@lukathegarlic despite my thorough research on the 4k+ I didn't know about that option, interesting. Dashcam solves that battery issue, I guess (even for home use). I always ask sellers about the state of battery of their yi cams (60% charge for long storage etc etc...). Good thing I have time. As long as I don't travel, no need for action cam :)
tolles Video, auch einfach nur im Hintergrund das Video laufen lassen und dabei auf Kleinanzeigen nach dem Motor zu stöbern hat Spaß gemacht
