Nice one. I’ve got my second trackday here next month and it’s my first time with a lap timer. Noticing your resetting your lap before the start line, is this for easiness? Is there a best place to trigger your lap switch at on the start stop straight? Many thanks
Yeah mate, knockhill is quite technical track, there’s very little time when your head has some time to think, I trip it early just as I leave the hairpin, I use the same marking from the paint to trip it each lap, my head is to busy at the start finish line, at that point your fighting the bikes front wheel popping up with the elevation change and also getting your body position set up for the heavy braking mark at the bridge at the same point, I like to keep my head as clear as possible for that so I can get turn 1 right
