From the Impact Video archives we have the 1999 Unlimited Bangers Eathshaker 2 championship from Swaffham Raceway. Featuring the infamous pile up during the Final that produced one of the biggest Jaguar wrecks ever seen, with all drivers getting out without serious injury. Bangers in 90s was brutal glorious times I was at this meeting Swaffham was best racing in UK then. Team Blitz, Steam team, Surrey street, Predators.. hard racing with awesome wrecks ..

Couldn't agree with you more! I absolutely loved banger racing in the 90s. Blooz Boys, Gladiators, Ant Hill Mob, Surrey Street, Suicide Squad, Kamikaze, and The Mr Men to name a few of the teams that would regularly turn up and put on a good show.
I used to travel to Kings Lynn, Mildenhall, Swaffham, Gt Yarmouth, Foxhall, and Arena Essex just to watch these events. I'm not sure if Swaffham even puts events on these days.
