I can’t express to you how grateful I am to you for this tutorial. I just made a WICKED reggae FL beat. Like my very first and very best after so many attempts.
Back in the 90’s I bought an ensoniq EPS 16+ workstation… you could do a lot with those work stations I love my keyboard, however tech moves very fast. I do use FL and Logic… I love creating my own four bar loops append it and build track. I know you can do the same thing in the DAW but just working on the keyboard was it… great job my friend.!
Great tutorial I have been wanting to make some reggae beats for so long but could never find a good tutorial ! Stumbled on this one at 3am randomly thanks !
+Maroon Riddimz im trying to practice and get better now. I am trying to use this tutorial to make a riddim, and then add in some hip hop elements so i can rap to it. Do you think reggae rap is possible or would it sound weird?
Chicken Burger Of course its possible! There are no rules with music. To combine the two well though, it is a challenge. Try keeping the reggae elements as far the interuments go, and doing hip hop drums.
Awesome Man. I like your style. It helps mine taking my notes off beat like you said. I’m used to Hip-Hop so this helps putting that swing on my reggae.
