T. M Krishna Sir I still respect your music. My son who was learning from him had a major accident in US when he was going to complee his Phd. He had TBI and he had great respect for his Guru. After staying in hospital for five months we came to India for home environment. Music would be a good therapy docors told. My son sings well and Krishna had taught lovely Keerthanais to him. We went to him. He welcomed us and told he was ready to teach him.But he did not pick up the phone when we called him. I understood. I bacame my sons Guru. This as a mother I am writing and no lie or no intention to defame TM Krishna. If he happens to see this let him recall. 2014 is the year. He would have forgotten his lunch in Trivandrum in our house and the Tapiaco appalams I used to get for him. How hollow it looks to me when he says his music teaching is for all. He could have payed a major role in my sons recovery if he had taught him again. Dos not matter Sir my son got back his music by Gods grace. I worked with him. I can never forgive you Sir🙏

Irrespective of his ideologies, penchant for controversies, this concert from the perspective of carnatic music alone is a below par performance. Pancharatna Kriti is are supposed to be sing as originally composed giving emphasis on Bhakti Bhava and not for niraval or swara vinyasa. His attempt to give niraval and then followed by Thani are mere experiments and boring.

Irrespective of his ideologies, penchant for controversies, this concert from the perspective of carnatic music alone is a below par performance. Pancharatna Kriti is are supposed to be sing as originally composed giving emphasis on Bhakti Bhava and not for niraval or swara vinyasa. His attempt to give niraval and then followed by Thani are mere experiments and boring.

Sounds like 2+2=4; the beauty of carnatic music doesn't stop with ragams and swaras... Even machines are capable of doing it !! The life or essence in carnatic music comes from bhakthi involved which makes it human... How can one critisize Rama and sing Tyagaraja keerthana... Atleast be true to your emotions TMK ?!!
