As a gal who grew up in the 90's and watched almost every single one of those movies daily it made me sad this generation hasn't experienced it. They truly are all beautiful movies with beautiful stories.
Anytime I watch these does gen Z know videos I die a little bit inside. I remember where I was when everyone of these movies were in theaters. God I'm old.
I know.. and the fact that she said she watched the “remake” of it.. it was already a remake 😂😂 you mean sequel!! And personally.. just as good as the first but more humour.
Is there even another remake to Parent Trap? I found that so confusing, because the only other Parent Trap I know about is the old movies, which I think anyone could tell were older than the 1998 one lol Edit: further on I realized you probably meant Homeward Bound, but like I don't think that has a new remake like she was saying, either? Lol
Yeah I think Cool Runnings was one of his last movies too because I think he did pass away during the 90s. He was amazing as Wilbur in The Rescuers Down Under too.
I am *heartbroken* that they didn't recognize Homeward Bound right off the bat. That was one of my favorite childhood movies and I would watch it weekly.
Correction, that was the Mighty Ducks 2, not 1 (you know it's 2 by the fact they're not wearing the green jersey's, but the jersey's of the American Hockey Team).
Uh, the clip for the 8th film was from D2: The Mighty Ducks, the second film in the franchise. You can tell because the jerseys are for Team USA, not the Mighty Ducks
So many remakes - Parent Trap, Flubber, Angels in the Outfield, Treasure Island, Newsies (counting turning a Broadway show into a movie). Also since Jaxon hates musicals he should probably be excluded from all Disney animated reactions since they are all musicals - he must not realize that even though he has sung along with them in past videos.
Treasure Island is an adaptation not a remake. Homeward Bound is a remake. I have to wonder if Jaxon would give Newsies a chance if he knew Christian Bale is in it.
Homeward bound is a remake. In the early 70's Disney made "The incredible journey" which was a nature film. No dubbed voices, no people, just a narrator talking about these abandoned pets who took off cross country to find their humans. The remade it because people couldn't understand what the animals were doing.
Even tho I shouldn’t have been, I was surprised by Jaxon’s excitement of Cool Runnings. I’m not surprised they didn’t know these movies since the oldest of them is 20 but I truly did not expect not even one to know Cool Runnings.
Same here. Newsies is the best. That's the only thing I can agree with Lucas on. His taste in 90's music is also sad too. I mean, he's come a long way since he was a kid but ugh. He just doesn't know good music or movies.
'91 baby here, lawwddd the nostalgia in all of these. Homeward Bound and Angels in the Out-Field are my absolute favorites. These kids need to see both of those and be prepared to bawl their eyes out lol
Mom loved The Parent Trap. Classic. My cousin introduced me to the Mighty Ducks movie when I was 7. Also, Inspector Gadget is one of my favourite 90s movies. So was Flubber and Parent Trap
You had some of my all-time favorite movies on here! Newsies, Mighty Ducks(2, which is what the clipsl was from), Angels in the Outfield, Homeward Bound, etc... So. Good. I, personally, would have chosen the distraction/fire in a barrel scene to show from Mighty Ducks 2, but 🤷♀️
Things that shocked me about this video- No one recognized Tim Curry in Muppet Treasure Island (heck the React producer didn't even mention that) and they didn't mention that Christopher Lloyd was in Angels in the Outfield. Funny Fact- I didn't know about the Newsies until I got to college because one my friends is obsessed with the musical (it's her fav) and she was always playing the musical soundtrack in our Ceramics class lol. She told me there was a movie that the musical was based on and I saw the movie. Not a fan of the movie itself but the music is amazing lol. Also to this day the Jamaican bobsled team still gets a HUGE applause in Open Ceremonies for the Winter Olympics. They've never won, but they are still admired. I knew ALL of these movies though, but I didn't see all of them though. 90s were my teen years (I turned 10 in 91), and the 90s was the time period when my taste in movies became 'set' I would say because by the time the 2000s rolled along, I knew what I liked for sure and became picky. Like the movies from this selection I did see, the only one I would rewatch is the Muppets Treasure Island because I am a big Muppets fan and Tim Curry is one of my fav actors. It's just plain fun!
As a '95 kid this video gave me so much nostalgia . These are all my favorites! Its my childhood in one video! I watch most of these as an adult! 😂 Also Muppet tresure island is slepted on for sure! Its my favorite muppet movie! Its so good! I watch it every halloween
I thought something felt off. I only saw the first movie, but I only saw it once and that was on TV in the 90s. Only part of the first movie I absolutely remember was the lone female doing a figuring skating move on the ice in the climatic game (it was amazing lol).
Angels in the Outfield and Homewardbound were my favorite movies growing up Angels in the Outfield still is. It’s such a shame it’s not on Disney plus.
I love Vivienne's Slipknot shirt, it reminds me of adventure time. I almost got all of these movies except for a few, but flubber and Muppet Treasure Island are two classics that I still watch and enjoy to this day

Have you watched the movie? The whole plot uses the baseball team as the backdrop. Disney even made the movie because they were owners of the MLB team at the time.
That scene is clearly from Mighty Ducks 2, as they are wearing USA jerseys and Kenan Thompson is in it.
Apparently the original Mighty Ducks wasn't diverse enough to be featured as a video clip. 🤣
D2: The Mighty Ducks***
This statement.

I couldn’t have agreed more
The questioning look jaxon gave Angel at the end .
Elmo is not a distant cousin ... all the Sesame Street non-humans (or real animals on occasion) are Muppets. Big Bird, Snuffy, Oscar, Count. And Elmo.
Anytime I watch these does gen Z know videos I die a little bit inside. I remember where I was when everyone of these movies were in theaters. God I'm old.
The 90's Parent Trap, Flubber, and Homeward Bound were also remakes.
we ALL STILL MISS ROBIN WILLIAMS 😭 May his soul be resting in eternal peace...
Shazbot.😥
Jaxon and Angel are always my fav together.
Devestated for them that they didn't know Muppet Treasure Island. A true gem of a movie!
Homeward bound is a must watch. I'm in my 30's and i still get teary eyed every time.

Homeward Bound has to be my favourite non animated Disney Movie.
I was screaming Homeward Bound the second I saw Shadow on screen and was so upset nobody saw it I love that movie
Homeward Bound made me cry as a kid. It was one of my favorite movies ever when i was a kid. As a 90's kid i would've gotten all of these right.
I read the book, so I avoided watching the movie. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it.
Homeward Bound and Flubber are classics. Jaxon is right; Robin Williams absolutely was the best. I miss him so much...
I remember flubber, as the 60s version, the absent-minded professor. I remember watching it at school. Then I was amazed that they did a reboot. 😆
They knew Newsies but NOT HOMEWARD BOUND!??? 😭
~Neighbor to neighbor... father to son... One for all, and all for one!~

It hurts my 90s kid soul that it was very clearly D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994) but credited as the 1st movie.
yes, it was. if they put 1994 I would have at least given them credit but they put 1992 on a D2 clip

Muppet Treasure Island is SOOOOO friggin' funny!! There are so many inappropriate jokes, and a hit of dirty jokes. And the songs are a bop!
