So many remakes - Parent Trap, Flubber, Angels in the Outfield, Treasure Island, Newsies (counting turning a Broadway show into a movie). Also since Jaxon hates musicals he should probably be excluded from all Disney animated reactions since they are all musicals - he must not realize that even though he has sung along with them in past videos.

Homeward bound is a remake. In the early 70's Disney made "The incredible journey" which was a nature film. No dubbed voices, no people, just a narrator talking about these abandoned pets who took off cross country to find their humans. The remade it because people couldn't understand what the animals were doing.

Things that shocked me about this video- No one recognized Tim Curry in Muppet Treasure Island (heck the React producer didn't even mention that) and they didn't mention that Christopher Lloyd was in Angels in the Outfield.
Funny Fact- I didn't know about the Newsies until I got to college because one my friends is obsessed with the musical (it's her fav) and she was always playing the musical soundtrack in our Ceramics class lol. She told me there was a movie that the musical was based on and I saw the movie. Not a fan of the movie itself but the music is amazing lol.
Also to this day the Jamaican bobsled team still gets a HUGE applause in Open Ceremonies for the Winter Olympics. They've never won, but they are still admired.
I knew ALL of these movies though, but I didn't see all of them though. 90s were my teen years (I turned 10 in 91), and the 90s was the time period when my taste in movies became 'set' I would say because by the time the 2000s rolled along, I knew what I liked for sure and became picky. Like the movies from this selection I did see, the only one I would rewatch is the Muppets Treasure Island because I am a big Muppets fan and Tim Curry is one of my fav actors. It's just plain fun!

Pet Peeve: They said it was The Mighty Ducks but it was the sequel D2: The Mighty Ducks.

Angels in the Outfield and Inspector Gadget were my favorite childhood movies and I hope Angels in the Outfield comes to Disney+/Hulu soon because I don’t own a vhs player anymore. I remember having a matching trench coat like Inspector Gadget as a kid that I wanted to wear all the time, the 90s were the best. Also I miss Robin Williams.

I'm sad no one was that interested in Homeward Bound. I simply adore that movie.
Also, I can say my UO since I'm old: I prefer the OG Parent Trap to the remake.

Me too. Homeward bound was my go too film as a kid. I used it to convince my parents to get me a dog! I used to cry every time at the scene of Chance and the porcupine because he was my favourite and I didn't want him in pain.
Also the OG parent trap is definitely better IMO, I grew up watching that because Haley Mills was one of my Grandmother's favourites.
I'm 27 (maybe old compared to the teens)

Homeward Bound is an absolute classic. Extremely disappointing that they shrugged it off.

    my favourites:
Parent Trap, Cool Runnings, Homeward Bound, muppet treasure island...those four were legendary.

I usually support Jax, but how dare you hate on my Ducks! 😛 That group is legendary! 90s kids sports films, Disney or otherwise aren’t really about the sports. As a rule.
Cool Runnings is extremely exaggerated for comedy, but the inspiration of the plot is still as serious as the real story.

It still blows me away to see Lucas in these Teen (GenZ) React shows. I remember seeing him as part of the kid's react.

Homeward bound, such a wholesome movie and Cool Running a Canadian classic because it's based around the Olympic games in Calgary AB Canada

Someone should tell them that Angels in the Outfield is not about baseball.

Have you watched the movie? The whole plot uses the baseball team as the backdrop. Disney even made the movie because they were owners of the MLB team at the time.

The reason they havent seen Homeward Bound is because their parents didnt want to subject them to that scene with Shadow.
