@@Augustus444 In northern China, the rulers were of Xianbei descent, but the populace was largely Sinitic. In southern China on the other hand, the rulers were of Sinitic descent, but the populace was largely of Hmong-Mien, Tai-Kadai, and possibly also Austroasiatic and Austronesian descent.

其实南朝的传承应该是 东吴-东晋-宋齐梁陈。从东吴建都南京开始，除了短暂被西晋统治后，一直延续着以南京为中心的南朝。
