When i got a psp for Christmas It came with shin budokai 2 and my mind was blown cuz after tenkaichi 3 I thought no more dragon ball games were being made
Death Battle gets everything wrong. They used mish-mash/composite versions of Goku and Superman and downplayed both of them hard. For example, they said that GT Goku, who at this point greatly surpassed opponents like Buuhan who almost collapsed the entire Dragonball microcosm, a realm that encompasses multiple universe-sized realms, had lifting-strength somewhere in the millions of tons. To be fair, Goku´s lifting-strength has never been portrayed accurately. In GT SSJ4 Goku holds up a part of a collapsed road to save some civilians from falling to their deaths and takes a slightly exhausted sounding breather after, when realistically, he should be able to lift trillions of galaxies with his little finger in Base-Form at that point. They mixed up completely different versions of Superman and used Goku feats from the manga, the anime, movies and GT, so they basically used GT Goku but mixed in feats from the manga which is distinctly different from the anime because it lacks some of the biggest feats of power from Goku that happen in filler episodes. They have done it multiple times now and the only thing that has changed is that they now also missuse feats from Super. Edit: It´s actually even worse. They are also using feats from Dragonball Heroes, a non-canon series where pretty much anything goes. The characters from Heroes are on such a different level in comparison to any other series, it´s unbelievable. There is a version of Hercule in Heroes who is the contendor for God of Destruction of Universe 6, enough said. And Death Battle´s justification for using that series is that there is a version of Goku called "Capsule Corps Goku" (because his Gi has the CC logo on it) and because that Goku´s universe roughly resembles the universe from the Super-continuity, those two Gokus are practically the same. They completely ignore the fact that characters from Heroes have fanfiction-level abilities. One example: In Super everything freaks out at the idea of Zeno erasing the entire Future Trunks timeline. In Dragonball Xenoverse 1, which exists within the Heroes continuity, the main antagonist Demon God Demigra wants to erase all of history which in Heroes is literally every existing timeline and there are infinite timelines. After gaining the power to destroy these infinite timelines, he is defeated either by the custom character of the player alone OR if an invisible times reaches a certain point, by the player and SSJ3 Goku pre-BoG. This Buu-Saga Goku, who hasn´t even absorbed God-Ki yet, is defeating an opponent who did something that shocked every present character in Super on an infinite scale.
Honestly Death Battle mixing up source materials is a real gripe that I have with their content. I now mainly just take their info in with a grain of salt, while just enjoying the animation lol
