Definitely some of the best new launches I’ve tried this year so far! A few updates…the UD foundation holds up extremely well throughout the day. It stays matte and looks super smooth without breaking down on me. I’m going to grab it another shade because it’s definitely going to be a favorite this spring/summer.
The concealer is really pretty and blends out well. It does crease by the end of the day but I’m going to test it out with some lighter coverage looks to see how it works that way too. It has a nice, natural glow without being over the top.
Still loving the elf Bronzing Drops but I prefer using them with foundation or a tinted moisturizer/lighter coverage foundation. They blend out so nicely when mixed with moisturizer or foundation.
I’ll update you once I test the Rare Beauty blushes out on top of their liquid blush formula but I wouldn’t say run out of and buy these. If you have a baked blush formula like Milani or essence, you will get a similar (and maybe even better) look.
After watching the footage back, I do think the essence mascara is the perfect shade of brown! It definitely looks brown and it’s soft but because the formula is buildable, you can definitely still get a dramatic look.
I LOVE the ColourPop So Juicy Glosses. They are going to be a top favorite formula for sure…but I would skip the lip liners. They are really creamy and smooth but there’s no staying power.
Neutrogena's concealer is a real winner for me and I have a couple wrinkles!

It makes me chuckle a bit, you see influencers plugging eye palettes, then use bronzer, blush and highlighter to do their eyes instead of eyeshadow!!!😂😂😂 personally, I like the eyeshadow, however the new shiny Rare Beauty blushes do look gorgeous on the eyes!!!😂😂

I have to agree with you on the shimmers. I have to use one every time. I’m also not able to get into the soft natural eye looks especially knowing how to darken the outer V and a mid tone for the crease. I actually feel naked if I don’t do those steps lol. Hope you, Brady and the boys are doing great. TTYL 😊❤️💄

hey!! i’m studying photography and graphic design, in relation to your camera question i would recommend the Sony A7iii camera. it has an amazing auto focus software and i think for your makeup videos it would be so beneficial! it also works incredibly in lower light settings, in case you want to use it for other stuff too. it is a bit of a splurge but for it being mirrorless and having such amazing properties i would 100% go for it 🩵🩵

For me. The UD IS A NO. I am 63 and dry. It’s too matte and it didn’t like my skin. The rest I do want to run and get 😂❤❤
I tried the Lash without limits mascara in black after hearing you raving about it, and I absolutely love it! It's so effortless to use and the length it gives is unreal! Thank you for the recommendation!

Risa does make up, and pampered wolf, both just videos on videos on putting your foundation in the palm of your hand, Then
really making sure your brush is evenly coated and saturated. They stressed that the palm makes a huge difference. I've tried it but i'm undecided.
That’s interesting! I’ve never tried that but now I’m curious to give it a shot. I’ll have to check out those videos.
Lisa Billson also uses the palm of her hand. She mentions how the “back of the hand” method tends to absorb product into pores on top of hand.
I started doing that after I saw Russ’s video and I’ve been so impressed with the results! I do have to clean my brushes more often, but that’s probably not a bad thing 😊. I also use that method now for my liquid blushes and concealer. What a difference!

I've been using the Physicians Formula liquid Butter Bronzer mixed in with my moisturizer. It's so pretty and I love it.

I do eventually want to pick up the urban decay foundation when it first came out I swatched a lot of shades at Sephora I definitely feel like it’s one you have to do in store.
This Major Dimension III Matte Palette is my favorite
It really is so nice! I have a feeling it will become one of my most used palettes.

I'll wait for the Fenty new foundation review, I use the matte foundation but I found it changes a lot when oxidizing so I am not sure which colour to pick from the new foundation

I’m seriously glad I didn’t buy the nyx blushes. Jen Phelps and stefs beauty stash didn’t get all of what they ordered in the blushes. Seems like it was a crap show on their site with them

If that Patrick Ta Eyeshadow Palette had two shimmers, instead of the creams, I would have purchased it (during their sale)...I'm a neutral palette lover, who always has a shimmer on the lids...I think it makes the eyes/eyeshadow look more interesting and beautiful when the light catches it! I also love using a few eyeshadow palettes together - you can create so many more eyeshadow looks, and select the ones you like best!
My bf gave me for christmas the glow recipe plum and i have combo skin and im so picky with face moisturizer and i did like it it soaks in your skin and its a really light weigh
Not the boring Patrick TA brown palette, I just don't see what influencers see in this palette.
I would just go for the Danessa Myricks Blooming Romance, it has more shade range plus creme and powder eyeshadows.
To me an eyeshadow palette has to have shade range and some pops of color here and there regardless of its drugstore or high-end.
I'm just feeling jaded my makeup in general... I feel like no one is upping they're game. Every single piece should be a magnifique masterpiece.

I'm with your mom re matte shadows vs shimmer. I tried a slight Urban Decay "space cowboy" on my lids once at Christmas and my entire family gathered around to pick it apart 😔 Never again. I love that pallet and the bronzer the best. Such a pretty look.

I got the saie concealer and promply returned it. It slid and slipped all over it settled into fine lines i wasnt aware i had lol. Some people like it but a few of my friends agree it doesnt stay put. Im sure it depends on skin type but im not sure i know anyone with oily under eyes. But on my combo skin it was not good.
I am definitely curious to try it with other foundations because I feel like part of the reason it lasted okay for me might have been due to the UD foundation underneath/Huda powder on top. Even still, I did have some creasing and fading by the end of the day. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it!
🙌All Nighter Foundation 🙌 I am on the - last - few - pumps. It really was long lasting, it gets me through 14 hour of wear. I did wonder if this new UD foundation would be a good replacement, thanks for mentioning that, I will try the new one once I run through some others after the summer.
I loved that foundation so much! I still don’t think I’ve tried anything that lasts quite as well so I’m excited to keep using this new foundation!

I’m 66 wanted to try Dior foundations. They oxide like two shades on me. So I’m trying to the Haus Labs At home it likes like a little yellow. Hope it works
It’s so frustrating when that happens. 😭 I feel like the Haus Labs oxidizes on me a little bit too but not as badly as other formulas I’ve tried!
i got the urban decay foundation in shade 4 fair cool. im fair and pink so hope it matches me :-) i love matte foundation lol

I use the creams in Major Dimension 1 because they are much lighter than MD3. I use them as solo shadows on really simple days.

Honestly I really think so! If you have oily skin, this is nice because it locks your makeup into place so well while keep your skin matte throughout the day. It definitely has a nice smooth finish. I used up an entire powder and repurchased it but I have to say it seemed to last. forever because you don't need a lot each time you used it!

I returned that patrick ta palette cuz shadows faded a lot by end of day (w/eye primer) and the cream shadows wore off as well.
Oh no! That really sucks because the palette is too expensive for that to happen!

You’re like the fourth content creator that commented on the UD foundation being yellow. I can attest to this. I picked up shade 4 (light cool) and it was super yellow 😣
That’s so frustrating! When I was looking at the pictures of the model online, it looks like most of the shades really are yellow. 😭 I’m surprised even described as light was yellow too!

I know this is weird but I wish you were like 15-20 years older. Your reviews are so on the nose and honest and in depth, but your skin is just in a different place than mine, and I can’t find anyone my age who gives the kind of reviews you do, especially on BOTH high end and drugstore.

If you have combo skin, you might want to check out Angie from Hot and Flashy (she's now in her early 60's, but looks younger), very in depth reviews on foundations, sunscreens & skincare. If you have dry skin, try Jen Phelps (she's in her 40's). These ladies can help you with formulas for more mature skin. Emily Noel is another early 40's reviewer who typically has "normal" skin that occasionally gets eczema. All of them offer both high end & drugstore. Hope this helps.
Looks great. Urban decay, all foundations oxidize on me whether primer or different skincare. I just get so frustrated with it.
Could you try mixing the bronzer drops in sunscreen just for a summertime quick no makeup face 😊

I heard from several people that the Saie concealer sets into fine lines and enhances texture in a bad way.
I feel like that will probably be the case more so if I pair it with a different foundation. I feel like part of the reason it looked nice is because it was on top of the urban decay foundation, which is really smoothing! I’m going to try it tomorrow with a lighter coverage product, but I feel like I might have the same experience with it not lasting. 😭

It’s so weird how everyone is trying to dupe that tarte lip product - I hated it and gave it to a friend! I like the NYX slick clicks a lot but right now my favorite lip product is Milani color fetish lip balm. Their lip stain would be great but to me it smells like gross vanilla plastic.
And I love the Milani wooden lip liner. For me Milani kills it, especially for lips
