I am so GRATEFUL for this sermon. I have spent my 28 years in this mental place, due to religious spirit/mindset. Now my eyes are opened for 1st time.... I have never felt inner rest/peace until now. That’s why all your teeth fall out And you’ll end up with Posti’s if you don’t already have them. That’s just a government’s way of making money and keeping you on drugs. You don’t need that stuff I went to church and my friend was on the methadone clinic and I’ll put a prayer request in for her to get off of it until weeks later she was off of it. Brother David, I was stuck in a stronghold. In fact, as I woke up this morning, the enemy was attacking with temptation of past sins that was very strong. I prayed in the Holy Spirit for the full armor of God. After we defeated the attack, the Holy Spirit directed me to this sermon. It’s precisely the message I needed to see. Wow! Praise Jesus! Surrendering to the Holy Spirit is the way forward. Thank you for this sermon. Several truths you referenced were directly applicable to my situation, and they were absolutely true.

Watching from Vietnam. He's right, average salary here is 200usd/ month. My mom, who had passed, had always been steadfast and taught us to be faithful with our tithe. Looking back we are blessed beyond measure counting our salvation and our encountering of messages such as this to breakdown our strongholds and to be able to say to the flesh: no. Pastor / Evangelist David - This message is so on time. I have heard multiple sermons on strongholds and this one definitely gets into the meat beyond the milk. What I took most from this lesson is how strongholds are not cast out like demons or unclean spirits. Strongholds are torn down by God's Word. Honestly, I am seeing strongholds continually being torn down that I had no clue existed within me until I got a revelation... many of which came from listening to your sermons and teachings.
I heard a preacher not too long ago talk about how the enemy does not attack Christians physically, but rather aims for mental or psychological challenges. He went on to say that this is why our weapons are not carnal, but rather spiritual. He like you mentioned that the flesh or temptation is not a stronghold. Temptation occurs because we are human. When Adam and Eve sinned, the sin did not occur until their mind was changed about what God originally Said. The serpent setup a stronghold or mindset, and they accepted it, and the rest is history. The enemy tried the same thing with Jesus by trying to use the Word in a manipulative manner to get Him to surrender His dominion as Adam and Eve did. The only reason why the enemy even considered tempting Jesus was because He was in human form which meant the flesh was present. But, Jesus resisted temptation by quoting scripture; the correct way to break strongholds.
I nowadays am also cautious about certain motivational quotes as I do not want to believe in me more than I do God's Word. Saying "I can do all things through Christ..." is way better than saying "I can do it" alone. Please excuse the long wordy comment. On the other hand, your messages continue to bring out the best in all of us! God bless you, your ministry, and your family. ☺

@@celiasleigh2805 I know exactly how you feel, I know one thing thats true: "The things which are impossible with man are possible with God." We can have freedom through Jesus Christ! He said: "I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]." Do you know Jesus? That God loved you SO MUCH that He sent his only son, His only baby, gave him to the world to be born as a human, 100% human and 100% God to pay for our sins by suffering & dying on the Cross for all of mankind's sin. Then like he said he would God raised him from the dead on the third day after. Jesus willingly went on that cross and died for people like you and me who wish we could just cast outselves out of ourselves! We don't need to. Jesus loved us and when we were doing even the worst thing in our lives (Sin) he died in our place and took those sins to death with him.
If we turn away from our sins and ask for him to forgive us, and make Him the boss of our life, His blood will cleans us and makes us brand new people.
Have you ever said sorry to Jesus for your sins and asked Him to forgive you? You can start fresh, all new!
